Hotel Monticello Tagaytay

Nice room, great service.

Shower head was broken, was leaking and didn¿t have full pressure.

Excellent service, very clean, great pool area, great location, excellent break fast cook. Hotel Employee was very good and makes a awesome omelet. Rest. Manager was very helpful. provided excellent service at front desk

Location was good. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Buffet breakfast was ok.

The room was not as we expected for the price. It was quite run down and a little refurbishment would be good. One side table was missing and furnitures were old and paints scraped off. The sheets smelled like it was not replaced for a few days. Bathroom was ok, but the smell of the drain was a bit bad. Really needs improvement in cleanliness. Not the best shower compared to other hotels nearby. Water was not hot,it was just a little warm.

The staff are all very helpful and professional. The breakfast is good.

We stayed at the Firenze room and the lighting is inadequate. The room looked tired and needs some renovations and proper maintenance. The shower in the big bedroom is moldy. Also, there are no trash cans in the bedrooms, just in the bathrooms. It would be nice to have at least one trash can outside the bathroom. The toilet paper was not replenished in the big bathroom. We cannot control the air conditioning temperature in the small bedroom. We had to call housekeeping just to adjust the temperature.

There was a cockroach in the middle of the night in our bathroom. We called management and they quickly sent someone to get rid of it.

The lighting in the room /bathroom .it was dim it's giving negative vibes especially in the bathroom plus there were 3 of us in our group that felt a presence when we were staying ,gave us goosebumps ?

The property is easily accessible from the highway

1. Breakfast area is small, we were told to wait before we could eat breakfast2. Service is slow3. The bathroom lights too dark

the staff are not well aware of booking.com guests of how they will provide services and benefits . the management should improve & learn to drive extra mile with their hospitality customer services & inability to answer needs due to lack of information of guest privileges. answering queries with refusal from staff ( man ) is quite disappointing.

We've been to Tagaytay always if we want to unwind and relax. This is our third time to have a quick staycation around the place but this is our first time in Hotel Monticello. We must say that the hotel is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We really had a great time staying in the hotel; the staff, the room, the buffet breakfast, amenities are all good and relaxing! It's just sad to know that we only stay in the hotel for an overnight only. We will definitely go back soon in Hotel Monticello! Thanks for the experience! Keep up the good work! :)
