Twin Lakes Hotel near Tagaytay

The toilet smells awful in our room. Maintenance went in and just sprayed perfume. I think it is already an existing issue but was not resolved so they just sprayed perfume all over the room. We noticed it in our 2nd night staying with the room.

cool hotel up in the hills with amazing view. the hotel itself is a little dated and food isnt great. Staff nice and polite and lots around the whole time.the room was comfy and the view from all rooms is stunning. pool is great too but gym old

The food is excellent. lots of choices and no issues on refills.

Really good location, lots of restaurants nearby. Very spacious rooms and great view! The restaurant was also nice. And the staff were very welcoming :)

The water doesn’t heat up enough.

Very comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet tasted really good. The wife loved the bath tub.

It was excellent stay. All staff are very accommodating and polite. The room was spot clean, comfortable bed. Fast service.

There is no coffee maker.

What a disaster. We stayed in Twin Lakes Tagaytay last September 12 for my birthday, and honestly, it was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.False advertising at its finest. They charge different rates for their rooms, and we paid for the higher one expecting comfort and something premium since it was my special day. Guess what? No matter how much you pay, you get the exact same size room. No upgrades, no added comfort, just a complete scam. They even explained to my husband that the difference was the room we had is ok for pets. Wait what? They should just named the rom King Room with Pets.Pathetic response. When we complained, they “offered” to change our room. But why bother? It was literally the same room type — like they thought we wouldn’t notice. It felt insulting more than helpful.Basic facilities not working. The water drain wasn’t even functioning, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one charging premium rates. And the worst part? It took them time to do something about it, like they didn’t care that their guests were uncomfortable and frustrated. When they changed the room not even apologies was heard from the guy who delivered the key.I had a bad sleep then cause there is no option to turn off 3 lights in the room a portion in porch and isang corner parang kami nag gagame na nag hahanap ng switch to turn it off and it cant even be considered a nightmare kasi i did not get a sleep.May gym pero not well maintainend - to think its an amenity na hindi lagi ginagamit nangangalawang na.This stay was supposed to be a birthday treat, but instead it ruined the whole experience. My husband and I love hotel staycations and have tried so many, but this is by far the worst and most disappointing one we’ve ever had. To think it was for a birthday makes it sting even more.Twin Lakes Tagaytay should be ashamed. Absolutely not worth the money, not worth the stress, and certainly not worth anyone’s special occasion

There should be more selection of filipino breakfast per day without repetition. But keep the egg section as it is. And thank you to Isagani “Gani” Medrano who cleans our room, he cleaned it very well.

The pool with limited umbrella and the lifeguard unprofessional. And took more time to request for water or coffee refill in the room.

You need transport to get around or a driver/cab company . Can't walk to other attractions. .

Excellent swimming pool area with kiddy pool, staff very helpful. Underground parking is good. Bedrooms are large & clean. Location is quiet & clean. View of Taal is brilliant. Small play room available for toddlers.

Room service stops at 8:30pm. Cannot even order alcohol after that time. Shower door in room leaking badly onto floor in bathroom. Breakfast buffet is average at best for the price. Could not order breakfast from a set menu, buffet only. Where as the location is nice & quiet, there is nothing to do in the area after 8:30-9pm as everything closes.

Very good experience, very rich breakfast, lots of variety, very attentive and friendly staff.

It was very cold in the common areas, they had the air conditioning very strong and at a very low temperature.

I was pleased with the breakfast staff. When i requested a certain food not on the menu, they managed to cook the food. Thank you.

Heated pool, comfortable bed, good water pressure, nice balcony, good cocktail, good view, good aircon, parking location, refrigerator and microwave in the room

Check in process took too long, bell boy doesn't help, the bar doesn't have readily available employees, facility looking Old

Breakfast buffet was just right. It was not overwhelming but the food tastes good. The heated pool was good too since it's a cold place and it's challenging to enjoy the infinity pool.

We had to wait a long time to be seated. We went to the restaurant when it was not "peak" but we still had to queue.It would be good if the entire pool was heated. The heat was only coming from the shallow part.

What I liked about our stay is that this hotel makes you feel like you're in a Royal Palace. The hotel itself looks like a palace! The hot tub in our room was also a plus, and the food wasn't that bad either. Overall, it was a pleasant experience to stay in this hotel.

Keep in mind that the location is quite far from Tagaytay's Town Proper. And if you want to go to the establishments on top of the hotel, it's a long walk... so it's still better to use the car to eat out. Be prepared to pack your snacks or food, so you don't have to order the expensive room service.
