Lovely getaway from Bangalore. Loved every bit of our stay and the hosts were warm and welcoming.The staff very friendly and courteous. Acres of greenery, plantations and serenity.

Fabulous walks throughout the 400 acre estate, teeming with wonderful birdlife.Tranquil team could not have been more helpful Great coffee!

An oasis of peace and tranquility in the midst of a very beautiful coffee planation in the hills of Wayanad. Ajay, our charming host, was warm, friendly and very helpful. He welcomed us over evening drinks and meals, creating a wonderful community feeling amongst the guests. But we also had our own privacy if we wanted it..The rooms were extremely well appointed, bathrooms were modern and elegant, and there was a lovely open-air eating area where the most delicious meals were prepared - breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks with drinks, dinner. All presided over by major domo Swamy, who organised everything to the highest of standards. The hotel is surrounded by tall trees, birds, monkeys, and wild life. The stay could not have been better.

I could not fault anything in this lovely place.

Nestled in the midst of a coffee estate, this resort maintains the old world charm of a British bungalow complemented by modern facilities and fantastic staff and management.

Just keep the way it is!

Very tasteful, cosy and clean facility with very good and friendly staff. The food was also very varied and good. Ajay and Nisha are very warm and friendly hosts with whom you can chat easily and about many interesting things. The resort is beautifully situated in a large tea plantation with many bird species and beautiful vegetation. We felt very much at home here :) We would absolutely recommend it!

The location is fabulous and the hosts (Ajay and Nisha) and all the staff (especially Swamy) went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. We stayed in the three bedroom villa and loved having a pool to ourselves. We definitely see ourselves coming back in the future.

Great location, lives up to its name! Excellent for relaxing amid nature. The staff members were courteous and helpful, always willing to help and took care of all our needs. Very responsive. The food was excellent too.

Tranquil by name. Tranquil by nature. A stunning property with mixed use of natural forest, (robusta) coffee bushes, areca nut and coconut trees and other wild vegetation. Peaceful walks throughout the property are clearly marked (except the Indiana Jones route!), which is the best way to experience this place. We stayed in the exceptionally well appointed Tree House room, so had a superb view from a lofty height of the plantation. We also enjoyed the occasional visit from a troupe of playful monkeys that consider Tree House’s verandah their play pen! Swamy and his team looked after us ever so well and if it’s your thing, we can highly recommend the Ayurvedic massage.

This was a treat for us and it didn't disappoint! The place is stunning and very well thought through - struck a very nice balance between fancy, boutique resort and amiable family homestay. The food was absolutely magnificent. Our favourite thing was the walking trails. We found simply going off for a wonder on footpaths quite difficult to do in India if you don't have a guide. They have loads that are extremely beautiful and full of wildlife. If your more of a backpacker looking for a treat like us, then I definitely recommend this place as not only is it relaxing but you get to sample lots of interesting food and see lots of wildlife either wondering about or sipping a cold beer from the tree house bar area.

In lots of the cheaper places we stayed, we kept getting woken up by people making a lot of noise in the early hours. We were hoping to (finally) avoid this at somewhere called Tranquil. Unfortunately for us a large group arrived at 10pm and kept making more and more noise until 2 or 3am outside of our room. Not really the resort's fault but something they could bare in mind for future - either letting guests know where they can sit after eg 11pm or making sure to do some checks during the night when they have big groups to stay to ensure the stay is indeed tranquil.

Its an amazing Property specially for the families. So calm and quite place and can enjoy the nature. Its a mind relaxing place. Specially the Mr. Ajay the owner itself is a very nice person. Who came and meet us in person and there for all the needs. Highly recommended place and must go.

Food is good. But i suggest to improve a little bit more with some choices. As guest we done have choices. That is the only negative part what i see.

The owner of the property, Ajay, personally gave us a warm welcome us on our arrival and immediately made us feel comfortable. It’s a beautiful property with wonderful treks and yet has easy access to the city. The staff, Swami, Raju and Kiran were exceptional in their service always with a smile. Our boys didn’t want to leave the place?

Good property and the rooms are good.

Safety issue. Not for family with kids. The swimming pool tiles were broken. Even when the kid was hurt while swimming, the management did not have the courtesy to talk to about this. Also the manager asked us to wash the plates if we need them in the room. I don’t think this is the respectful gesture.

Very helpful staff. Great location. Beautiful rooms. We enjoyed variety of tasty local food. They always ensured to have some non spicy dishes in menu suitable for kids. Walks inside property are lovely Since rain had started some of the routes had lot of tall grass. However staff mentioned they maintain these routes well and cut off grass in other seasons.

Nothing to dislike here. Would be good if a small play area can be added for kids as there are no activities apart from walking trails and swimming.

It is a small paradise with great food and good hosts doing the best they can.All the personel are kind and super helpful.The rooms are very clean and well equipped and the pool is brilliant.The estate is a dream place for nature lovers!

From the point of making the booking to the time you checkout of the place - Ajay and Nisha are amazing in sharing hands-on travel tips, organizing the process to save time on non essential activities, making you feel at home, along with an efficient staff team that responds to all needs promptly and courteously. Parking space is ample on the property. Despite being so close to the highway and road, you would feel like you were cutoff from the world, tucked into the plantations with bird song for company. They have laid out clear signboards and instructions for various trails around the plantation - which makes it very easy to plan your own activities. Food was absolutely delicious across all meals - special mention to beautifully deorated dining space and ambiance with different designs and colours for eac meal.

Swimming pool - a deeper pool would be a lot more fun!
