Pepper Trail

This is a wonderful resort located in a wonderful location. We stay in the tree house. The experience was very good. The staff was invaluable. The resort has many facilities like a swimming pool, a spa.

There was no hot water in the spa room. We expected hot water after the spa, but it was disappointing. During night time, we should close everything and sit inside the room as there are a lot of mosquitoes.

Amazing peaceful side trip from my business trip to Bangalore. Wonderful food, service and optional included activities. Highly recommend. Staff were excellent. They helped me arrange car service to and from the airport. My favorite was the morning nature and bird walk with Kishore who is very knowledgeable. They arranged an Ayurvedic massage and steam for me too!

A hidden oasis nestled in a lush plantation! Impeccably maintained, with incredibly friendly staff, this retreat is the perfect escape. Truly a slice of paradise!

This is a beautifully maintained property set in a tea, coffee and pepper plantation. Only a few rooms, so not busy, and the most beautiful pool. We had originally booked a tree house, which was very special but I got a bit of a vertigo attack, so the lovely staff promptly and with kindness and no fuss moved us to a villa which was huge and incredibly comfortable (and on terra firma). The 8.00 am jeep tour of the estate is definitely worth doing. We have travelled all over India and this is right up there in terms of location, staff and accommodation. Breakfast is taken in the very attractive reception area, where you could eat dinner too if you liked. We had it in our room and the food was fine.Would return, for longer, in a heartbeat. Managed with style.

Stunning property in the middle of a tea & coffee plantation. Waking up to the glorious symphony of bird sound in the mornings was a joy. We stayed in the plantation room which was large and super comfortable with a huge balcony overlooking the natural forest. Food at the restaurant is delicious and the restaurant setting is magical - surrounded by lush green forest - the entire property is exquisite & so relaxing. The staff are all so friendly and helpful - always service with a smile!..We want to return again for much longer next time!

We loved the location, the property, the staff was very friendly and supportive and food was amazing too and was better than outside food. Extra activities like trail visit and teat tasting was amazing with excellent knowledge.

Infinity pool was stunning, Heritage property (MacKenzie Suite) and excellent tour around the plantation. Staff were all lovely and particularly excellent was the guy who takes the activities- he was extremely knowledgeable.

Nothing not to like. It was a bit quiet (not many other guests) but they had had some cancellations due to news about a landslide. However, this was about 60k away and the property was well outside of that zone.

Location, Greenery, Comfy beds

We found a dead centipede in the pool, so felt pool should be maintained properly

We stayed at in the firs floor of the Old bunglow at Pepper trail. It was a huge spacious level, with lovely greenery on all sides. Loved the room and the balconies. The infinity pool was amazing, you can see the rolling greens and hear all the bird sounds while enjoying the pool. Some great bird walks. Kishore, the resident naturalist gave us some amazing bird watching tours around the plantation. Food was great! Management was super helpful and made our stay really enjoyable, thank you.

This property is right in the middle of the forest. The fact that you’re closer to nature feels soothing to the eyes as well as to the heart. It’s a perfect place to unwind. The stay comes with a few recreational activities at the property. They offer a decent variety of food for in-house guests. The infinity plunge pool overlooking the forest was perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunset.

Amazing staffs to make sure of our well being, the stay was for a day , though mesmerizing . had a good staycation with my dear family . will visit next time with more family members. Thanks team .

Pepper Trail is a glorious place. I can’t speak highly enough of it. Our pool villa was just fantastic and we made full use of the pool as it is heated to a nice temperature. It was incredible being in the middle of the forest. You might think it could be claustrophobic but it wasn’t at all. Watching the monkeys work their way across the trees in front of our villa , and one come down to sit at the edge of our pool, was magical.We did lots of walks around the property and nearby areas. It is very quiet on the small roads and the tracks through rice fields. In addition, Pepper Trail has a naturalist who will take you on walks and help you with birdwatching. Gayitri is very knowledgeable and a lovely person.All the staff are kind and helpful and the food is delicious.

Everything about Pepper Trail was amazing. As soon as I entered the gates It felt so tranquil. I stayed in a premium villa, which is really large and airy and has a veranda for watching the birds during the day or just relaxing. The pool area is so peaceful, surrounded by tropical flowers & plants. All the staff went out of their way to help with anything, they were very knowledgeable about all the wildlife, plants and spices. The food here is great too, if I had one small quibble, it’s that you always got way too much food. I would highly recommend Pepper Trail.

Our stay at the Pepper Trail was absolutely outstanding. I would go so far to say this was one of my favourite holidays ever. The first thing that made our trip so memorable was the incredible location and accommodation. All the villas are spaced out so you feel like you have the place to yourselves. The facilities were exceptional. The pool is the most beautiful pool I have ever used! My villa had a huge balcony from which I could really relax and enjoy the jungle surroundings. It was huge. The pictures do not do it justice at all. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. So lush peaceful and tranquil. I was there for five days and we had breakfast lunch and dinner there daily. This was the best food I have ever had. The variety on offer for me as a vegetarian was wonderful. What made our stay so memorable was the incredible staff. They were absolutely superb. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly helpful, smiling, engaging. They couldn’t have done more for us. The service was second to none.

Stunning room , we stayed in a pool villa which was amazing. The food was excellent. We are in the room every evening . Staff could not do enough to help you . The jeep tour was fantastic and so informative . There was no alcahol but the staff drove out to get us a bottle of wine . The local Indian red which I have to say was a really good wine .

No alcahol so if you like a drink stop off to buy , there is a fridge in the room .

Tree house we hated it . Not a big fan of tree house because no AC in the tree house & they just give one fan . It was tooo hot inside and too many bugs . Even bugs are falling on our bed from the ceiling. Requested for another fan still it was hot . Then light is very dim. One day @ tree house and hated it in all way.
