Wish had more green space to explore, music events were too loud / late in the night. I was there to enjoy quietness of the nature

Perfect view over the tee- and coffefields. Magnificent view in general and lovely food and staff. Birdwatching became a new interest and they really have beautiful ones.

Leaches on the around, but no worries about that.

Location - you feel one with nature. Awesome view from the rooms, property. Hospitality is top notch. The staff are highly responsive and took great care of us.

Beautiful property surrounded by nature. I stayed in the hide away chalet which offered solitude but the services of a great hotel a few hundred meters away.

The outdoor gym area wasn't to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food, the nature and surrounds were all wonderful. The staff were very attentive; Sujith, Prince and everybody there who were all very hospitable. The natural stream was the highlight for me where I had the most rejuvenating experience in a long time. All in all, we can wholeheartedly recommend.

Great property, overlooking a tea estate. We stayed at the hideaway chalet and it was a wonderful experience. Very peaceful and the hotel staff was great!!

Although it's not too far from the town, it's in a jungle and the road to the hotel is in a bad condition. The hotel does not offer any sort of shuttle or transportation to the town. This is an issue if you don't want to eat at the hotel, since driving to the town is a hassle. The hotel food is decent, but is charged at a premium.

The location of this property is excellent, offering a perfect setting to enjoy the natural surroundings. The staff are exceptionally accommodating and always ready to assist with any requests. The food at the restaurant is outstanding; I particularly appreciated their thoughtful gesture of providing us with a packed breakfast when we had an early morning tour planned. Overall, it’s an ideal spot for those looking to experience both comfort and nature.

We stayed in the Hideaway Chalet with a Valley View, which is the highest category room at this property and comes with a premium price. However, there are areas that need improvement to better align with the price point and overall resort standards.1) Room Cleanliness & Maintenance: The room did not meet the cleanliness standards. Some refurbishment is necessary to bring it up to par. I’ve attached a few pictures illustrating the current state of the bathroom and room for your reference.2) Safety Concerns: The chalet is located quite far from the main property, making it essential that the telephone facilities are operational at all times. During our stay, both the phone and internet were down multiple times, and I had to restart the system to reach the reception. While I was able to resolve the issue as I have an IT background, other guests may not be able to do the same, especially in an emergency, which could pose a significant safety risk.3) Soundproofing: While I personally enjoyed the natural sounds from the surroundings, this room may not be suitable for guests who prefer a quiet environment for sleeping. Even with all the doors and windows closed, external noises were still audible. Improving the soundproofing would make the room more comfortable for a wider range of guests.4) Room Blackout: The windows and doors do not provide proper blackout coverage. At night, the room is illuminated by streetlights, and during the day, it's impossible to achieve complete darkness. While the room's design is focused on showcasing nature, installing proper curtains or shades could easily solve this issue without compromising the natural experience.I chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews and pictures, and while the location is indeed stunning, a few improvements are needed to match the resort's value for money and meet the expectations of its premium offering.

Room AC wasn’t working. But the staff changed the room immediately.

Loved the property and views from the property. We had gone during monsoon so the views were breathtaking. Each corner of the resort has something to offer and the whole resort is aesthetically appealing. We had a great stay. Very very courteous staff, a special mention to Karthika who helped us throughout our stay who was with us until we left the resort as well. We stayed in the Hideaway chalet (cottage), the room was very cute, cozy and super clean, the view from the room was amazing. We visited the resort on my birthday and the staff found that out somehow and had arranged a cute setup with a cake for my birthday celebration, it was a very pleasant surprise and they made me feel super special. Never expected we would get this great treatment, was very much impressed. Words aren’t enough to tell how great the stay was. Great stay, great location, great staff, great views, great food, overall an amazing vacation and the best resort that i have ever come across. We also got an opportunity to meet and get a picture with Mr. Shashi Tharoor Sir as he was staying in the same resort. It was a best stay. I would totally recommend this resort to friends and family. I would definitely come back to this place as i am in love with the resort.

The location and design of the resort

No facility for the driver. Since the property is very far and drivers can't commute to town easily, there should be staying facilities for Drivers. Even if it's paid it's fine. But facilities should be there

Very special resort that offers outstanding staff, a wonderful scenery and great activities, such as the nature walks with the „Naturalist“ (big shoutout!). The food was exceptional and the our room very clean and cozy.

We were missing a shadow place at the pool to chill, this could be improved.

It is new and everything is so spacious and very modern. The best is the nature walk and the stream. Special thanks to Sujith and especially Karthika.

The streets to get to the property are horrible. They need to be developed.

Impeccably clean rooms and facilities. And very spacious. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful.

The resort is on a large piece of isolated forest property high in the Nilgiris, and they have a naturalist on staff to who is happy to go out on walks and show you everything - birds, plants, butterflies, etc. The resort itself is very new and built a very hugh standard. The room is very large and beautiful.

The food service was very uneven. Breakfast and dinner are included, but one day both were buffet style and excellent variety, and the other you could only order off the a la carte menu, and hope you got something good.

The property is well maintained. Very clean and hygienic. Food was amazing. Staff is very proactive and take good care of their guests.
