The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel

The view.

Rooms were dirty, carpets were very stained everywhere. Bathrooms were dirty and had malfunctioning fixtures. Further they kept a party with high bass music blasting until midnight!! At a hotel where one sleeps. Requests to lower bass were ignored.

I saw trash (Walter bottles) thrown around, That should be discouraged at this beautiful property.

It is a beautiful property and convenient location when we visit Kollam. Leela has done some upgrades. The infinity pool looks nice.

Each room is different and it could be hit or miss.

After several incidents, the duty manager Shine sorted everything out

Electricity keeps on going on and offFood quality was ok!

Quick check In, Huge spacious room. Staff everywhere was great, immediate to respond to our needs. In room dining as well as at the restaurant buffet, food was good. Overall great experience especially because of the service.

Cleanliness to be improved

The location was really wonderful with close proximity to Ashtamudi lake. The staff are friendly always ready to cater your needs with utmost priority.

The day we checked-in I think the property was almost fully booked. They couldn’t give us a proper welcoming and couldn’t assist us properly initially. However later on they apologised for the delay and tried their best to make us always comfortable during our entire stay which I really appreciate.. Thank you Raviz team.

Great view, staff was very professional

Toilets were very small, there was party which was very loud and we could not sleep, good thing is as soon as we complained about the loud music in 15 minutes it all stopped, I found that very professional on the part of the hotel

Not value for money

Beautiful lobby overlooking the lake.Amazing service. The chef personally can out to talk to us about dietary requirements and customised meals for us. They were delicious. The boat ride is a great touch. The grounds are relaxing and stroll through. Infinity pool overlooking the lake is magic.10/10 for the price.

No privacy in the room as the bathroom is without a door, open parking space, overall cleanliness can be improved, breakfast was not great, some dishes were too salty.

Super nice hotel, which is located a bot off the center (10min car ride) but pleasantly located at the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free yoga session in the morning.

The food was ok and rooms were ok too .. but had a nice location and good staff

Had an old feel to the property

All foods were nice. Regarding the room, one of the room have less colling for AC. Remaining everything was fine

Swimming pool water is over chlorinated. This made the visibility under water to zero and the water become more harder. Kindly avoid that.

The food staff were good and the chef was really good however what lacked was the main staff and management who hardly acknowledged us or were attentive to what we weee asking.

Was placed in a side of the hotel were all the staff were also staying. There was constant noise and the room was filthy. Management was poor at service. Not suited for a “luxury hotel” hardly acknowledged us. Bath was filthy with green mould/algae.

Good ambiance, clean and nice location.

There was a whole night party which was too loud and was disturbing the sleep.

Hotel staffs are very helpful and self motivated

Excellent location and food facilities

We were given a warm welcome with seashell garlands and a nice cool drink. We were requested to take a seat and enjoy our drink while they prepared to check us in. Wonderful ? Throughout the stay, all the staff were warm and accommodating. We were well taken care of.

It would have been great if the complimentary half hour cruise had a commentary - even if it was a recorded one as the boat moved along.

Good location

AC temperatures are locked at a particular temperature and you cannot lower it down. The AC vents need cleaning and also the airflow was lower.
