The property is beautiful and very secluded and relaxing.

I love the seclusion of the property and the calmness of the property. The staff is wonderful and the VIP service is a wonderful. The gym could be updated a teeny bit. But otherwise everything is great. The dinner menu at Bamboo is a little bit limited, but the food is excellent as well.

Service not up to par for a hotel that charges $1000 USD per night. Would not stay here again.

The included breakfast was delicious. Variety of options to choose from and staff was always willing to make your food how you wanted. Top notch service!

Room was great (beach villa), really big and kept nice & clean. The beach is lovely and relaxing (seaweed and rocks when entering the sea were the only things I didn't like). Dinner at Bamboo restaurant was fantastic, staff friendly and warm. Golf caddy and bicycles to get around the resort work really well. Thank you

Wi-fi does cut out sometimes. Seaweed and rocky entry to sea weren't great. There are better beaches elsewhere (Maldives etc)

Superb service beyond compare.Beautiful location , room and facility. We are planning to return. Service made it exceptional. Location and rooms , somedays we sat on veranda looking at water and didn’t leave the room.

I can hardly find the words to describe how excellent the hotel is! As someone who travels often, I usually don’t take the time to write reviews about my stays, but I couldn’t resist sharing our experience at Tortuga Bay. The staff was incredibly friendly, and every facility truly surpassed our expectations.

The villas are beautiful and extremely clean. The beach is unbelievable, staff is very nice. They took care of us very well. The reception and the restaurant is designed by Oscar de la Renta; so beautiful.

Tortuga Bay Resort in the Dominican Republic was the perfect destination for our romantic getaway as new empty nesters. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning oceanfront suite that offered breathtaking views and a serene, relaxing atmosphere. The suite was immaculate, well-appointed, and provided the utmost comfort for a peaceful retreat. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the Bamboo Restaurant. The culinary experience there was exceptional, with exquisite dishes and impeccable service that truly made our evenings special. The resort's amenities were top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the adjacent golf and spa facilities and the convenience of full-time use of golf carts and bicycles, which made exploring the resort a breeze. The VIP treatment we received throughout our stay added an extra touch of luxury and made this our best resort experience yet. Tortuga Bay Resort is a paradise for those seeking absolute tranquility, privacy, luxury, and romance. We can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning soon.

nearby La Yola restaurant was a bit over-rated. The pool temperature was a bit too warm. While we did not mind a little dress code at certain restaurants for dinner some folks may.

The beach is amaizing, room beautiful with view at the beach and sea the restaurant was good. The staff very friendly.

It was quiet and private and close to the airport. The accommodations were lovely and the staff amazing. The vip service made getting through customs and immigration a snap.

The hotel has a private beach where you can rest and relax in a quiet and peaceful environment. The beach is impressive, the accommodations spacious and of high quality.Special thanks to the entire Tortuga team, the service is excellent, they do everything to assist you with whatever you need, all cheerful, polite, and helpful.The hotel restaurant is also great, for breakfast and other meals. The golf cart helps a lot in getting around the property.I definitely recommend and will return soon.

Everything was great

Tortuga Bay Hotel is great! My wife and I flew there from the UK for 10 days at the beginning of February 2024. The staff were absolutely wonderful- everyone was super friendly and spoke pretty good English. As a bonus, guests are allocated an ’Embajadores Team’ who will suggest activities and arrange anything you want. You really feel like a VIP! We went to the Carnival and hired a car for 3 days, driving round the island sight-seeing. We go to the Caribbean every year and we both felt that the exceptional beach villas and whole layout of the estate was one of the best we have ever visited. I loved the addition of a golf cart and bikes to go to restaurants & spa etc. Security is first class and we felt 100% safe at all times. I guess the only downside was the beach- it looks amazing, lots of it but just a little bit rough and sea weedy. But this is more than compensated by the beauty of it, the lack of people (while we were there) and the surprising amount of wildlife- pelicans, herons and all manner of seabirds. Puntacana has what looks like the most amazing golf courses but as neither of us play the game- we missed out on that. In summary, I thoroughly recommend the Tortuga Bay: it’s a beautiful hotel with very high standards and delightfully friendly staff.

People were so nice, service was great, room facilities were top, location was great.

The food was too expensive and although the fish was fresh, they could improve the food quality given such high prices and that the restaurant is supposed to be in a five star hotel. Other than that it was great.

Tortuga Bay is a wonderful upscale boutique resort with a fantastic on-beach location, great food, and phenomenal staff. The property is very quiet, easy to get around, and full of top notch amenities and service.

The services from the staffs were friendly but not always reliable. But I’m very happy and glad to celebrate my birthday day at the resort.

This resort is the epitome of luxury. It excels from personal attention to gorgeous landscaping and facilities to special touches.
