    Pros +

    • The serenity of the place!
    • Location, design, cleanliness and comfortable room.
    • The room facing the rice fields and the mountain range make a lovely picturesque backdrop and a jacuzzi on the terrace a great way to end a day of touring northern Thailand- if your lucky to experience a sunset behind the mountains, or rain burst while sitting in the jacuzzi looking at the rice fields - the amazing experience will stay with you. The hotel breakfast was varied and the service was prompt.

    Cons -

    • It?s a good 45-60mins from airport but knowing that before we books as we wanted to be out of the city center
    • The hotel is on a main thoroughfare and not particularly close to a town center. If you don’t want to have dinner at the hotel you will need to get into a car and drive. Thankfully a family restaurant does sit nearby (8 minute walk) which we walked to - but there’s not so much as a sidewalk or even a sufficient edge to the highway - (with cars whizzing by at high speeds).
    • Hot water shower, take time to heat up.

TEVA Valley Resort has a stunning view of Nang Non mountain the atmosphere is very fresh air, a good morning vibes is very good staff was very friendly and helpful. This place is very suitable for a leisure time at hotel.

By the way the whole experience was very wonderful but about cleanliness, it was a bit need to improve as i had experiences of jacuzzi in the room but there was a lot of algae which i need to take time to clean it.

Teva is located in the middle of no where! It’s a nice clean hotel with staff not really helpful. There is no tourist information available at this hotel! We aspect more tourist information at a resort more then anywhere! I will only stay here if I am driving myself as there are no taxis or any other public transportation available. Also there is no food after 8:30 pm, if anyone is a late eater bring yourself some food! The hotel it self is very beautiful and clean! Me and my husband have been in Thailand since the past 2 weeks, we have been going from town to town, each hotel have given us free upgrade to a nicer room with good views except at this hotel, even though they had no one else at the hotel it was just the 2 of us and one more family. Little things make one happy and makes your travel more memorable but here the staff were very cold and turned us down on everything we asked. If any one of you out there are looking for superior service go somewhere else and stay closer to town!

Room is big and clean. Very comfortable stay

While there was no fault with the facilities and cleanliness of the place, front counter staff could be better trained in communication. Was informed at check-out that 2 of our rooms needed to compensate for dirtying the bedsheet. We were certain that we did not do that and asked him to show us the evidence. He could not do that and told us that we could leave. I am not sure if there was any lost in translation but it was an unpleasant end to the stay.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful view watching the sunset. Pool very nice and bed super comfy. Restaurant food very nice and for breakfast I like the fact you can order a la carte. The bar also makes a good margherita ,

    10DavidPosted on: 1-17-2025

Facilities are good, the pool is great for lounging as it’s in the sun most of the day. Although it’s out of town a bit both the onsite and neighboring restaurant are great. A couple of great sites to visits are nearby (hour walk so having transport is required)

Could use a couple of pedal bikes and there are some sites to see that are a bit of a walk.

Very new hotel. Spacious room with modern amenities. Nice bathroom, toilet with electronic bidet. Delicious breakfast.

Not good timing to enjoy rice field view.

Very clean with a tasty breakfastModern, clean and comfortable rooms

Location wasn't as secluded as the pictures made the place out to be - It is right by the highway, and 20 meters away is a pretty popular cafe with music blasting at night. The balconies aren't facing the mountains as the pictures suggest - it's facing that same cafe with cars coming through in the evenings and a spotlight that shines into the bedroom until late. They charged us for a bucket of ice - no hotels that charge this rate should be doing so.

The hotel is right on the highway with the big mountain and rice field views. It's surprising that we didn't hear any highway noise at night. We had a very good sleep. The bed is so big. The washroom had everything I need. The room has a big balcony and chairs for you to sit and enjoy the view. There is nice restaurants nearby that you can walk to. They serve very good Thai food and cakes. Breakfast was also really nice but mostly Thai food and they cook it as you order. They also have a bar for drinks. I totally recommend this hotel.

    Nothing!

Where to start? For us, this was not a one-night stay, we were there for a week. That's plenty of time to get a good feel for a hotel. The food was genuinely superb. This is a small, quality hotel therefore there was never going to be an elaborate breakfast buffet because relatively speaking, there are so few rooms , however the option to order anything you wanted from The Breakfast menu was lovely. The food was always freshly cooked there and then and the quality of the food was first class. Likewise for the evening meals the menu is not super extensive but the quality of each dish is 100%. We chose this location approximately 1 hour north of Chiang Rai because we wanted to be within easy reach of beautiful countryside ( in 10 minutes we could be in mountainous landscapes) instead of having to negotiate our way out of the city of Chiang Rai every time we wanted to explore. And we did not want to be in a large tourist Hotel catering to coach loads of holiday makers. Regarding the rooms they were very spacious some of the largest we have stayed in in Thailand and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. I do not believe there are many hotels in Thailand that offer the combination of Comfort, space, service and spectacular views, in such a relatively intimate atmosphere. This is a hotel we would LOVE to return to.

A bit of mold spots in the bathroom

Really awesome shower and toilet in the room, by far better than most hotels I've seen across Thailand. Great service.

There could be more of a selection for western food, since many westerners do visit the Cave

The only thing we enjoyed was the bed. We were a little shocked ascthetically by the bed, though. To look at, it appeared to be lumpy. We soon figured out that it was the bed cover that was bumpy. The pillows smelled like they covers had been left in the washing machine too long. The smell was terrible. We were in the king room, and the view of the mountains was amazing. The food was terrible. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was tasteless and bland. We ordered two blue Hawaiian cocktails, and they were not what we know them to be.It almost felt like they were a throw together.Breakfast was included in our stay. I asked for two four minute boiled eggs, which turned up in a tea cup with no egg cups. I ended up with eggs where the white had not set properly, which was a turn-off.If you come here, you must have your own transport, as none is provided.Would we return? No, sorry.
