The Space Hotel Chiang Rai

There was 2 bathroom and the toom was bigger then I expected.

The bathroom that had the toilet and shower in each separate room smell like sewer. I didn't like that.

Overall it's ok. stuff was friendly. cleaned every day and the water was renewed. there is a steamer for clothes.

I cannot recommend this hotel because of a strong sewage smell in the bathroom. Closing the toilet door does not help — the smell comes through the general ventilation system. Housekeeping sprays air freshener every day, but it only masks the smell for a couple of hours.Breakfast is mediocre. There is almost no protein: only fried eggs and a small amount of meat mixed into pasta or rice. The coffee is poor, and the coffee machine is frequently out of order. The orange juice is also low quality. Vegetables are limited to lettuce, cabbage, and carrots. For dessert, there is only watermelon and cheap jam for toast.My room faced a roadway and a wall, with no view at all.The gym has very old equipment, no air conditioning, and a low ceiling.

i felt odor /bad smell in toilet and also in the lobby.I think the hotel can pay attention to sanitary system.

My stay at The Space Hotel Chiang Rai was comfortable and convenient. The location is excellent—just minutes by taxi from the Blue Temple, CentralPlaza Mall, and the Night Bazaar. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was cozy and well-equipped with good Wi-Fi and efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying overall.

I liked that the room was spacious and impeccably clean, even the hallways. The hotel also had a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, which made my stay even more relaxing.

The lounge was quite spacious and nice.

The mattress was really uncomfortable. I could feel the inside of the mattress and was unable to sleep.

Hotel had decent shower pressure, the bed was pretty comfortable, the AC was good and location isn't bad at all near food places and a great food marketA plug socket either side of the bed was also nice.

There is 0 sound proofing like at all. If you manage to fall asleep you will be awoken by all the cleaners chatting, everybody having breakfast the geckos and birds outside.Rooms do not look like the photos not sure if we got the old rooms and there's a newer version but we checked the other hotels local to this one and the prices were more or less the same but they appeared to offer much more. There's no light switch near the bed not a big issue but would of provided points.It's 30 baht to burrow a hairdryer which isn't for deposit it's simply the price to use something that should be providedOur shower pressure was good but the shower was not. The clip to hold the shower head was useless so you had to hold it yourself as you showered.The first day we arrived as we're grabbing our keycard for the room there were men (possibility tourists) smoking cigarettes Inside the hotel lobby the exit was literally 5 steps away but no staff or anybody batted an eye they just allowed them to smoke inside by the no smoking sign. To be fair in this situation also the receptionist was a young girl who did seem anxious so I wasn't sure if I should mention it incase she was worried to tell 3/4 grown men alone to stop.Day one the main light in our room simply didn't work so we didn't have lights however no issue we were out most of the day so we just got in to sleep by the time we got back in day two they had fixed the issue without us informing them so that was quite good but should of been sorted before we got there.

Really disappointed with this place. The room itself wasn't bad but could have been better. What was most annoying was the fact that they said breakfast is included and it ended up being a few pieces of fruit and coffee/tea! Such a rip off!

The walls were paper thin meaning you could hear every snore, toilet flush, light switch and footstep from inside the hotel. Add to that the noise from the nearby road made it almost impossible to get to sleep.The beds were like sleeping on rocks, hard and lumps in the mattress.The breakfast was terrible, very little options and the options that were there were stone cold.The gym was on the first floor beside the reception, dining area and carpark and having all glass walls meant everyone coming and going was looking at you, one of the most uncomfortable workouts I’ve ever had.Additionally, we were charged to use a hairdryer. This is a minimum amenity id expect all hotels to provide for free.

It was a good location spacious rooms

Definitely not 4 star, rooms are so basic bathroom and shower such low quality, could definitely do with an update

This hotel is close to everything. Breakfast has improved it has a couple of hot dishes, toast and coffee, enough for us. The deluxe rooms are nice and spacey, but you get a bit of noise from adjoining rooms, but nothing major.

Parking can be an issue in peak times, but staff will direct you.
