Le Terrarium Bed & Sleep Chiang Rai

Gorgeous, sparkly clean, large patio including a little speaker system to listen to your music (respectfully of course.) we had a great experience with polite and friendly staff, great communication before our stay even started and throughout the duration. It was a quiet and very serene environment in a gorgeous old building that’s well kept. The bed was very comfortable and we can’t wait to come back again asap! Also, perfect location to explore touristy sites and indulge in local markets and hip bars.

Convenient location, but it is inside an alley and is a bit difficult to find at first.

No Elevator so had to carry heavy bags over a flight of stairs.

The room was perfectly comfortable and generally well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and the wifi worked.

I was traveling with a friend and booked a twin room, but we were given a double room. When I showed the proprietor the booking (clearly showing two separate beds and called "twin room"), he told me that there were no free rooms like that on that day. No refund offered, no apology given. We were able to push the beds apart, but ... that's not an acceptable thing for a hotel to do.

The only reason we stay here is the location. It is near the hospital - we came to visit a patient there. We prolong our stay and it got more and more uncomfortable and we moved the hotel.

1. The bed looks fine but there are bug beds. Very uncomfortable bitten bites. 2. Slippery shower booth.3. There was this incident that the owner asked us to switch rooms every often, saying there is a client booking 'this room' specifically and they already agreed to facilitate them.

This is a phenomenal property in its cost-class. Things started off right with the staff letting me check in a few hours early after I had flown in the from the US. Very kind of them. The room itself was airy, clean, and fully functional. The hot water was hot; internet was strong; the hotel was quiet; and best of all, the location was very convenient to just about everything I could want to walk to. There was a great gym not far away, plus all the bars. Just in front of the hotel are carts selling all types of cooked eggs, vegetables, and meats. Then there's the 7-11. For what it cost, it was perfect!

Very cute place! The welcome area was very nice. They have a koi pond and seating area. They also have a roof top area too. It felt very tropical. The room was nice. Once you walk out to the main road, there are a few local stalls and a short walk; there was food stalls.

This building has only 2 levels of rooms. And not elevators. Luckily, we only had one luggage and we had to carry that up the stairs. So, if you have a lot of luggage, be prepared. The AC did leak when we had it on.

The bed, the spaciousness of the room

The shower space is large but you cannot use it due to the location of the pipes and wose which force you to get a shower in a corner of less than 1 square meter wide between a column and the wall which is really uncomfortable. It should be easy to improve that.

- Pillow a little too stiff and thick- Staircase slightly inconvenient for luggage- WiFi not reliable

We stayed for a night, and it was great. The aunties at the reception are really helpful and friendly. 7 minutes walk to town and 7-Eleven nearby.

The property is well-equiped and clean, the hosts are extremely kind. It is a family-run complex with a lovely ambience. I can whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone.

The bathroom ceiling was leaking but it was the middle of the rainy season and I trust it will be fixed by high-season.

Location, clean and great value.

Location, easily walkable to the night market and bus station. Next to hospital but incredibly quiet. Cool fish pond.

Nothing, it was actually grand

Great location, clean rooms, very nice and helpful staff. They help us with transport to the aiport extremly morning .We highly recommend it!?❤️

- Inside room nicely decorated and modern enough similar to pictures - Courtyard was nice - Room was clean and bed was really comfortable. - fine for a one night stay

- Right next to a hospital and not a nice view at all and no privacy so curtains drawn - police whistling traffic in the mornings due to congestion at hospital junction

Nice room and good location

The WiFi is terrible. Everything else was very nice.

Nice place for a 2-night stay! The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Nothing exceptional stood out to me, but I do think it’s a great option for the budget-conscious traveler.

My room overlooked a large parking lot. The outdoor lights were very bright at night and shined through the curtains.

Staff wasn't rude, just reserved and very quiet. Location of shower head in our room was not the smartest. Had to hold the shower head.

Boutique hotel, within walking distance to Jetyod Road. Good value for money and room was clean. Roof terrace usable.

Hardly any staff around, though room was cleaned every day. Location is a bit out of the way, next to a big hospital. It has two floors but the stairs are quite steep so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Very comfy bed. Hospital noise not an issue at all. Nice place to chill on the rooftop too.
