Novotel Solo Hotel

location, service and cleanness

I like how the hotel feel very cozy from the lobby to the hallway and to the room. The bed was very cosy and clean. I love how the hotel doesn't serve water in plastic bottles anymore and placing many water coolers in various spots. I think the best was the customer service, there was a mistake in the system that I couldn't get the family room I booked, but the staff quickly fix the problem by giving me another room and make sure I get what I paid for: this makes me feel very valued as a guest.

Breakfast taste and quality need to be improved.

Fresh & clean room.Good swimming pool.

Breakfasts as our package deal was poorly served. Venue was meshy. Uncleaned utensils & many served foods (when empty) were inadequately & untimely added. Fair quality & taste of foods. No excuse for short of employees during Eid holiday. It's far behind my expectation.Cups of welcome drink (in front of receptionist desk) inappropriately served, smell oily & fishy.

Good interiors

The towels are old and not clean. It took a lot of time for water to get hot and the water flow from shower was also very slow.

Amenities can be improved. One bottle of water per day is not sufficient. Pressure of hot/cold water of shower is interchanging. Couch is not comfortable.

Good location, atmosphere, clean

super comfy bed, clear rooms, and working hot water, breakfast was superb and location impeccable

the drinking water system needs improvement, having to call the operator for more water with waiting time of 5 minutes is not great, the water jug was also very small, so i had to keep calling the staff back and forth and eventually gave up and buy my own water from indomart (which is quite far and i had to walk those miles with 7,5 liters of water) not ideal situation, please improve, and also i had allergies acting up due to the central AC, kindly do checkings

1. Staff are exceptional wonderful, accomodating and polite - especially in the restaurant & the bar - Angel & her restaurant manager they're absolutely great - will come again to the Novotel Hotel.2. Location is right in central of Solo3. Breakfast offers varieties meals

1. Outdated bathroom with strong sewage smell & damped smell in the bathroom2. Coffee machine without coffee pods - need to ask the hotel for the coffee pods - better dont put coffee machine 3. No iron & board provided4. No wine by the glass has to buy the whole bottle of wine.

Easy check in & check out

Car parking outdoor & parking indoor at ibis

The vibes of Central Java or uniqueness from Solo, the location is quite strategic, and the taste of the food are incredible

On the first day, the door of our bathroom in the room couldn't be closed ; but after calling the customer service they fixed it right away

located in the city and value for money. i ask for extra blanket and they provided without add charges

lift not working well sometimes.

Two nice pools.Friendly staff.Good restaurant.Very good breakfast with a lot of choice.Large room.

Breakfast was brilliant, and I tried the dinner for the first time. Compared to Jakarta, the price/cost is much more competitive. There was also live music, which is cordial for a light beer under the moon, next to the swimming pool, and to enjoy the evening breeze.

The entire hotel is considered one of the oldest hotels in Solo. Despite always trying to reinvent/refurbish itself, some of the rooms probably need a repaint. I would also think that the room (at least the one I stayed in, Room 511) can do away with the carpet for hygiene purposes.

Novotel has a high standard that Novotel Solo has succesfully uphold. Room maybe old, but it was clean and well kept. The staffs are very communicative and helpful

Novotel need to be upgraded to compete with the new hotels

Location

The room has a very moldy / musty smell, and the rooms are not sound proof, you could hear the sound of the traffic.

the location, it’s in the heart of the city

the room could have been more cleaner, we found ants in our room

Firstly the staff were very welcoming. The room was very big and clean, and the hotel has lovely traditional decor around the lobby and hallways, yet a modern bedroom and bathroom. Location-wise the hotel is within walking distance to traditional warungs, plus the main area for evening street entertainment (live music, street markets). It is also only a 25-30 minute drive to the airport. A great stay we will be back!

Nothing!

Good location; clean, spacious and comfortable room; fast check in and check out; and friendly staffs.

Smoke smell.

Hotel is great location in small city. Friendly staff and room was clean

I used restaurant in hotel but food is limited optionI wake up at the midnight due to ramadan holiday

Even though it is an old hotel it is nicely maintained. I love staying with Accor Hotels as they have a good breakfast spread.

Can't complain about anything, except that they don't have Vegetarian menu in their restaurant. They should consider adding some Vegetarian menu. Made to Order Indian Vegetarian dish.
