Maryborough City Motel

Everything was excellent. The room was very clean, the beds extraordinarily comfortable and the young lady working there has got the best customer service of anywhere. Pool area was mowed and well maintained. Wouldn't hesitate booking again.

Perfect little motel, superb professional service and very clean rooms.Our room had a queen and a single and honestly had absolutely no issues right from check in to check out. Will be returning

My room was next to the road, frequented by trucks in the night!

Does its job. Old but clean.

Right on the main thoroughfare through town so a bit of truck noise through the night as well as workers staying leaving early in the morning.

So friendly and attentive, we were greeted and addressed with wonderful warm smiles and intriguing conversation. The room had everything and if there was anything we needed they were happy to provide, ie bbq tools, chopping board and large sharp knife and bbq tray for when we bbqd by the cool clean pool ... The shower was hot and pressure great, they provided a multi board for our use, kettle, toaster fridge microwave etc,tv large wardrobeWe stayed for 8 nights, the central location was ideal for our day trips locally and further north to see the area. We had a car park for our use right outside the front door and they had lollies and soft drinks etc available in receptionWe will definitely be back for another stay and will likely bring family and friends too , hopefully next year

Hopefully the internet will be fixed so streaming live doesn't freeze so much the next time we come stay

Quite a bit of road noise.

We had a very quick trip to Maryborough and check-in was easy and the room had everything we needed.

Comfortable well designed room, excellent mattress and friendly welcoming staff

Well located in terms of being close to all arterial roads in & out of Maryborough & Hervey Bay. As well it is close enough to the city centre for restaurants & Aldi. We enjoyed being able to take our small dog with us. Our linen was of very good quality & clean. The shower was an ideal size with great water pressure.

Great comfortable accommodation to break our travel. The property owners are lovely and welcoming. Pet friendly with enough space for pet crate/bed in rooms. Will definitely stay again!

Location for us was perfect. Able to have our small dog with us was great. We were upgraded into a family room with a queen and 2 single beds not bunks., and 2 toilets.

Rooms could do with some upgrades

We had a twin room with queen and single beds. Likes: Fantastic staff who knew all the good places to visit and eat. Good sized room, I think the description wasn't counting bathroom area. Comfy beds with white cotton sheets and the full complement of linen (towels, hand towels, face cloths etc), tea and toast making facilities with microwave, etc. Toilet had its own door. Enough places for our overnight bags. Very handy to the CBD and eateries. Dislikes (but easy fixes): Tile floor was swept but not mopped, so I had to wash my feet before bed. The Louvre windows had no insect screens. The lights attracted small bugs into the room, so we had to turn the lights out. Seemed to be a bad season for bugs with all the rain. Even so it was reasonable value for money.

We had an incredible experience at the Maryborough City Motel. From the moment we left Brisbane during a storm, the staff went above and beyond—staying in contact with us the entire journey to ensure we arrived safely. Despite our late arrival, they kindly opened reception just for us and made check-in smooth and stress-free.Our room was exceptionally comfortable and perfectly suited to our needs—clean, quiet, and welcoming. It’s clear the team truly cares about their guests, and their hospitality made all the difference.Highly recommend this motel to anyone needing accommodation in Maryborough. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Nothing. Was exceptional.

The couple managing the property were so helpful and accommodating. Our room was huge and it was a fantastic location and even better that we could bring our dog.

No breakfast

We were upgraded to a larger room which sounds great except that the larger room is filled with two bunk beds (to sleep 4). Because we were next door to the only other family room, we were kept awake by 4/5 tradies sharing that family room! Secondly, the room/motel is very close to the main road through Maryborough and it gets busy/noisy in the morning. This didn't get much restful sleep! In addition, the bathroom had a wooden floor (of some age and uneven) whilst the room had a tiled floor. Surely it should have been the other way around. Shower cubicle was small to enter. Not satisfactory.

Friendly and helpful office.

The room was old and poorly set out. The fittings were old and at places a bit shabby.

Like the location, went to Maryborough for Suzi Q concert, staff gave great advise of where to eat and gave great directions so we didn't get lost as it was first time to Maryborough. Room was comfortable and even though on main street, traffic noise was not an issue

Comfortable bed & great TV

The old-fashioned air con unit was too noisy.Inside the wardrobe had a funny smell about it, like mould but couldn't see any.

Great location for our short stay. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating especially as we arrived on Christmas Day.
