Location is great & can walk into town.

Supermarket closes to early in most towns of Australia especially the rural towns. NOT the hotel's fault of course.

No frills, no stress — just a clean, comfy stay done properly. Curtains blocked the light, shower was strong and plenty of soap and shampoo. Arkana Motel is a win for me

We booked 5 rooms for a wedding we attended and the motel kindly allocated us next to each other. Called up before and was simple to arrange. Place was pretty full, parking plenty and probably the biggest carpark in the town. The rooms were pretty darn good. Alot of updates being completed but nothing disruptive at all. Would return.

An outstanding stay from start to finish. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a relaxing visit. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was quiet, making for a great night’s sleep.The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, going out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Parking was easy, the location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and well cared for.Excellent value for money and far exceeded expectations. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free stay

Our room had been recently refurbished, bed was quite ok, had thr normal coffee and teas and clean linen. Walked barefooted in the room and my feet were still clean so I could also tell the floors were also clean. Rooms are still being worked on but there's no disruption to guests and within time they should be all the same standard. We arrived late and spoke to extremely helpful staff to guide us in. Appreciated the clear directions.

Everything was ok

Best check in process especially when arriving after hours. Room wise, was tastefully redecorating, nice crisp clean look, bed slightly hard but way better than a marshmallow mattress that kills your back. Shower was fine and the cherry on top was sitting outside with the supplied biscuit and tea watching the thunderstorms. Happily stay again if given the chance.

Quiet, comfortable and clean

Had lovely sleep after a long car drive. The place is neat, tidy and a great price. Very professional staff . Met the owners who are the nicest people. Nothing is too difficult for them. Alot of improvements being made which is great because they're reinvesting in Maryborough. I wouldn't hesitate in staying again. Felt safe and quiet too . Everything is well lit.

Can't think of anything

The motel is convenient, comfortable and clean..As long as the 3 Cs are there, then it's definitely worth for the price. Checknin is the best with all pin and automation. I had arrived 1040pm and I could still get in easily without having to worry about the key. The carpark is lit up well and as soon as the head hit the pillow I was out like a light. Housekeeping asked us if we needed anything but we're no fuss people and can clean up after ourselves.

Too much rain!!!

First place Ive stayed that I loved the mattress. So many places have old sink into mattresses that smash your back. These were nice and firm and excellent for my back health. Parking was ample with a large roomy carpark to ensure no terrible drivers or drunks smash into your car like a the pub motels around here. Last week my front door was keyed and smashed at ANOTHER pub close by. Some rooms are freshly painted and looking tremendous. Clearly the crew are getting it running again.If youre looking for a clean safe and pleasant motel then I wouldnt hesitate

Nice stay and nutin I didnt enjoy.. You need to be a special kind of person to go around takin photos of rooms and posting them.

Was there with a work group and found the place clean and fresh. Linen was fresh and clean and everything else what what you would expect in a motel. All in all was very pleased and we're rebooked. Rooms were ready earlier than expected and we did not even need to ask or pay extra. Excellent food choices close by with great coffee and pub meals.

Nothing to dislike

Where I come from this is the same a quaint motel 6. However this one is tonnes better. Staff even washed some clothes for me which was unexpected. Room was clean , pool was fresh and blue and slept like a log. Can't fault.

As long as the shower is hot and I can sleep than Im happy. The carpark was also roomy enough for our truck and the staff helped us park it where it wouldnt be in the way. Paid about $145 which in all honesty is peanuts these days for accommodation and was happy with the choice. Felt very safe and quiet with the place being quite busy. Its a no fuss stay thats very clean and pleasant. Even got to have as swim. Pool was also clean, usable and a welcome addition after driving for ages.

I was treated like one of the family here. Very friendly and was able to book at 9pm and easily check in after I finished my shift with my company. They are in the process of refurbing but rooms are what youd expect at $140. You still get tea coffee and biscuits. How many places give you biscuits these days? How ever the rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing noteworthy happened after dark and is generally quiet like every other place in town. Id stay again as its the best place to check in easily without hassle of being interrogated like all the other place. When Im tired, all i want to do is hit the hay.

Overall stay was fine. My room had just been renovated and was comfortable. We arrived before lunch and we were more than welcome to check in early which was convenient because we were there for a funeral. Free tea and coffee and biscuits were welcome. The owners are well underway in fixing and replacing and this place has the potential to be the best in maryborough once finished. We were told they are rebranding to a best western which is a great move.

Bed was a touch soft but fine as it was new.

Place has really lifted their game. Much cleaner , friendly service if needed and efficient check in. Sheets are crisp and clean, bathroom smelt of cleaning chemicals and just normal travellers and tradies staying. Welcome back Arkana

The checkin experience is second to none and that alone is a winner at Arkana. Quick, simple and no hassles. Rooms were spotless, showers and toilets smelt like they had been cleaned with disinfectant and wifi was awesome. Staff were attentive and available. Worth it by far for a reasonable price. Will be returning

I arrived early for a meeting and wasnt expecting to get into the room. However when I arrived the lovely staff dropped what room they were working on and told me my room would be ready for me in a jiffy and went straight to my room and started making it, through no request of my own! What other place in town does this? The answer is none as Ive been to all of them. The service and politeness is honest the best Ive seen in the world. A shout out to the staff because thats above an beyond in my books and that alone deserves recognition. The motel itself is being updated and is an older style motel and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the livability of the room for the price. The price is not high in maryborough so the standard is perfect for the charge. The bathroom had fresh grout and everything smelt and looked it was very very clean. As soon as I entered my room early, I knew everything had been disinfected and cleaned.
