The receptionist was super helpful and friendly. The room is very spacious and has an electric warmer under the bed.

Is next to the road and can hear the traffic.

Nice location, near the Durie Elevator, and just a brisk walk to town centre. Nice to have the deck space outfront to sit and enjoy the sunset

The location was close to the reason I was there. The rooms are clean, tidy and serviced everyday. Staff were friendly and there were some good views.

Room was dated, TV could not be cast to and there was a bit of road noise

Lovely friendly greeting from owner , clean tidy room with new decoration .

It is a bit small and away from the center of town ,

Good place to stay except for the beds (woke up with a sore back). We stayed in a unit up the back which had everything you could need but everything was k mart or warehouse quality. A decent place to stay for a night or two for the price . The staff were super nice

Definitely the beds - they were ok but not of good quality and you could certainly tell the next morning

We wanted a bed in a motel that was close to our meeting place. This motel met all our expectations.

having to carry our bags etc up steps to the room from the car park, but I knew that in advance.

This motel was very clean and comfortable. The bed was great. Great shower.

Great location - easy walk to the main part of town. Helpful host. Simple basic rooms but very clean and adequate. Comfortable beds with quality sheets.

Very clean and tidy, great wifi, quieter than expected, easy close parking, easy check in & out.

    7LynPosted on: 3-28-2025

Kitchen & bathroom good. Sky included was good.

Bathroom mirror only mirror in unit and just too high up the wall.Pillows not comfortable.

Run to international standards with exception to little jug of milk not being replaced when the room is serviced. The road is busy/noisy which as a city dweller you can do without when being away but location is good to go to/fro locally by car. The rooms are fresh, immaculate, spacious & comfortable. You can tell the team here take a lot of pride in the upkeep of their establishment.

An excellent stay and was there for 11 nights. Room was comfy with really good bed and shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's quiet at night despite being on a main road.

The room was very clean and tidy.

Exterior of building and car parking garden area needs some improvement. Mostly need painting, removal of rust on railings and outdoor furniture, repair or removal of outdoor garden table, more garden work.Bathroom fan not working, not a problem in summer but will be in winter.

DEAD MICE as soon as I walked into Reception!!!! LEFT on top of printer (on right at desk) FOR 1 whole night n still there the next morning/day crazzzy. Asked for a refund and left the next day (they refused at first I had written a complaint n thank god for camera’s because that had saved us. VERY UNHYGIENIC STAINS on sheets from who knows when didnt let my babies sleep there another night. Partner found a DEAD MICE in our cupboard where our plates where I told him to remove it IMMEDIATLEY. Booked out for 3 nights n was disappointed because of the amount I had paid. I got a refund next day from BOOKING.COM NOT HOTEL they refused as soon as I asked. Took me a whole day to get a hold of anyone that worked at Te awa, had waited at reception from 8AM to 9AM no one so i went in town for what i’d say all day and still no one when we had returned. All i wanted to do was return the key tell thwm my complaint in person n hope they would helo us stay somewhere else. I refused to stay at TE AWA for another night. I was told room service was at 12 and room had not been done at all. Looked the same upon return!!! Rung the cell most of the day n no answer until I had emailed my conplaint I got a phone call straight away. TE AWA HAD ME WORRY ABOUT WHERE ME AND MY KIDS WERE GOING TO SLEEP.

Older property but clean and tidy.Friendly staff.

All rooms are upstairs so can be difficult with older guests carrying heavy luggage up the stairs.

    8HelenPosted on: 3-12-2025

Quiet and a nice distance from town.

Pillows too hard and chair not nice to relax in.

    8CarolissenPosted on: 3-6-2025
