    Pros +

    • Short walk into the CBD, quiet location with lots of free parking on site
    • Good location room was clean. Good shower pressure.
    • The room was great, but the location seemed kinda dead to us. Since we were not driving, any cafe/ supermarket was a long long walk. Also does not help that the hotel is on a hill. it was very quiet, and simple.

    Cons -

    • The shower soap dispenser ran out of soap. Might be a good idea to check them regularly. Also, there are only four little milk pots. That's enough for two people to have one cup of coffee or tea.
    • Fridge has had its day
    • Fridge was very noisy and there were people talking outside in the middle of the night. The curtains are only just wide enough so were difficult to shut completely (possible, but took some adjusting).Small niggles though - otherwise it was perfectly fine.

Clean, easy parking and spacious with good pricing

The single bed was slightly shorter for taller people

    7MishaPosted on: 2-11-2026

    Location was central

The curtains couldn’t be moved. That have the room a very gloomy feel with no natural light coming in and no view

    8MichellePosted on: 2-10-2026

Bathroom and shower was great.Bed was great. Very comfy. Nice and quiet.

Having to lug bags up stairs. No lift.

Friendly staffWalking distance to most things

The climb up the driveway to the rooms

The location was good, and the room had everything you could need. Like contactless check in, for a stress free arrival time.

Walls were very thing, the 'Quiet hours' weren't really honoured by other guests. Making loud noises making both myself and my younger sister feel very uncomfortable and unsafe at times throughout the night. Getting into bed on the first night, noticed my bedding was stained - which made it feel dirty.

The centrality to Launceston CBD. The off-street parking. The size of the room and the large volume of places to put all my bags! The huge vanity. The price was very good. The courtesy call I received about my late check-in was much appreciated because I was busy and had forgotten to touch base.

Nothing that I didn't like! Would have been useful to have a 'do not disturb' sign to hang on the door, to prevent the room attendants from bothering to makeover the room on my one day there (2 nights), but I made one using their envelope & that worked.

Easy parking. Good communication from staff for after hours check in. Spacious room

A bit noise at night from other guests, maybe down stairs or next room

    9BrucePosted on: 2-1-2026

Location central, easy walk down to shops, very clean.

Great location, spacious room and comfortable stay

Microwave not included in the standard price and carpark could be better (although manageable)
