Balmoral On York

Location was good as it was close to town. Beds were very clean. Included breakfast was a great bonus.

There was only one sink, that too in toilet. So that was the only place to drink water and wash hands etc. It was quite hot in the provided 2nd room, the AC was not effective. 2nd night AC didn't work. Staff girl was advised next morning, they took it very casually, no sorries etc.

Location was perfect - close to city centre. Bed was super comfortable. The room was very clean and having access to a car park was handy. The included continental breakfast was very nice.

The room came with a good continental breakfast (lots of fresh fruit and good coffee), and you could upgrade to a cooked breakfast. Also, the room had the most amazing shower - best water pressure on the planet!! The beds were comfy, too. The location was perfect - we didn't need to drive at all. We could walk to Cataract Gorge, local museums, and loads of cafes and restaurants. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and everything was quite clean.

It was a bit cold and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the heat. The walls are painted cinder block, so it was chilly.

Breakfast was freshly prepared eg: fruit and the variety was great , cater for my needs. Good coffee with continental breakfast. Not just instant. There was other options for breakfast as in hot breakfast for additional cost however the breakfast available complimentary provide more than ampule choices. Staff were fantastic, exceptional comes to mind. Engaging and welcoming. Room was great clean and fresh smelling. Super comfy bed. Reasonably priced for what I received. Off street parking was a bonus. Location was so convenient meet my locational needs, great base to move around the area with and allowed me to achieve what I need to during my stay. I would recommend this accommodation. FANTASTI JOB TEAM... I will certainly be recommending you to others and will stay again when I come back in the coming months.

Great view of Launceston from our room, staff were very attentive. Free continental breakfast however, free hot breakfast if you book direct. I would have expacted a free hot breakfast being Genius3 but that wasent the case. Very convenient to Launceston CBD only a 10 minute walk. Older syle historic motel however, well maintanied, free onsite parking.

I chose the property because of the location which was perfect for what I had to do. The room and bathroom were impeccable. The variety of choice at breakfast was exceptional. Tim, the owner, was the perfect host and whenever I am in Launceston again, I shall stay at this hotel.

This place was advertised as a 4-star hotel on Booking.com, but in reality, it's more like a basic motel. The building, room, and bathroom are all quite dated, and the hot water is difficult to adjust.We stayed for four nights. On one of the days, our towels weren't refreshed. On the public holiday, the room wasn't cleaned at all. If I had booked an Airbnb, I would understand this level of service—but again, this was advertised as a 4-star hotel. It feels like a scam. To make things worse, we had to wash our own dishes daily because the cleaner didn’t bother to do it. I’m usually a generous reviewer, but having stayed in many hotels across Australia and around the world, this is by far the worst "hotel" experience I've had.

They accommodated an early check in which was appreciated. The accomodation is good value for money. Nothing fancy, but for what you pay absolutely on point.

We couldn’t get parking at night, the car park was full so we had to park on the street. And it was hard to get through to someone on reception by phone or messages through booking.com
