    location

staff did not orientate guest nor inform them of accommodation facilities/services, staff appeared to have limited knowledge or interest in sharing

    6Caitlyn O.Posted on: 1-19-2026

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean

The hotel was a bit dated in the furniture

    4ChloePosted on: 1-18-2026

    Nice bathroom

Rooms are very dated and felt unclean and dark

Beautiful old hotel done up very nicely. Loved the rain shower. Good location with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Walking distance from the bus station. Lovely City Park at the end of the block. Very worth the walk.

No coffee or tea provided. Noise echoing in hall of people closing their doors.

    8LaurenPosted on: 1-13-2026

Location is right near City Park which was beautiful. Rooms were a good size and large clean bathrooms. Staff were friendly.

    Sheets were a little stained

Nice breakfast and easy to reach the hotel from CBD

Old facilities and short of park lots.

    7HamishPosted on: 1-8-2026

    Comfy bed

Staff could have been friendlier and more punctual at reception and more staff at the bar downstairs as I was waiting ages to be served

    4SamiaPosted on: 1-5-2026

Hotel has a great location. many cafes and restaurant near. comfy beds

hotel overall outdated, even smells old with the dusty carpets everywhere. no gym or pool. very average breakfast. way too expensive for what it is

    9FrancesPosted on: 1-5-2026

Location is really good, near to the restaurants and Cataract Gorge. The room size is bigger than what I expected.

The beds are bit shaky but still comfy though.

Central location and easy to get in and out. The cleaning lady on the afternoon shift was very good. Washing machine and dryer facility was excellent.

Need to pay for the parking. Spotlights are aimed directly at the room, and they are blinding. The morning cleaning team did a poor job and had to request additional cleaning.

    8SallyPosted on: 1-2-2026

Parking was right next door, reasonably priced and very easy to access. An inhouse laundry is a useful amenity. Very close to the lovely City Park. Room generous size.

Rooms could have had more powerpoints and there were no USB ports at all.

Nothing much the hotel room was very BARE, had to call for toilet paper, tissues had Four in them no tea towels and fridge was stone empty!

    as above

    9StevePPosted on: 12-28-2025

    Nice room good location.

Restaurant below par. Overpriced and not very nice food.

    9Roberta J.Posted on: 12-28-2025

Everything was great and to our expectations. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Happy hour drinks was popular.

Nothing. I would thoroughly recommend paying the $10 for parking next door, as parking may have been a problem if we hadn't.

Great staff, excellent dining room, ( loved the cloth napkins), meals were top notch on each occasion we dined there. Beds large and very comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Laurie.

    8SarahPosted on: 12-20-2025

Really comfortable bed, spacious room and easy access to everything.

Toilet being behind bathroom door, awkward location
