Pros +
- Good location. Reasonable price, friendly staff.
- Rooms were cleaned and reasonably stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits etc.
- Great location, and was able to have a meal down stairs instead of finding somewhere to eat. Staff were very helpful.
Cons -
- The air conditioner had dirty water and was not very effective and only in one room. The rooms were very hot and we become unwell.
- The room was small and generally a little worn-out. It would have been fine if it was cheaper, but it was too expensive under the circumstances.
- The Queen bed against the wall one of us had to climb over, not good for elderly people.

Comfortable bed, nice to have a Grill House downstairs food was good
The place is on a major road, if you happen to have your room road side then the traffic noise can be annoying especially first thing in the morning if you are trying to have a sleep in.
Central
The light outside very bright people smoking cigarettes outside the window where there is a smokers ashtray right next to the bedroom talking at 6.30 am
Staff were very helpful and the room was good for myself one night
How small it was but got over it quickly, i'd stay again no problem
The bed was super comfy! And the bath in the room I had was huge. An interesting set up with the bathroom sink in the room but definitely comfortable for a night or two.
The reception staff were seemingly not there once I received my key. They were unavailable at check out to discuss luggage storage for the day.Aside from the bed, it did feel old/dated and dusty. I feel like some wd-40 or inox spray would work wonders on a few hinges!
We had problem with one of the the booking (wrong booking date) and no room available everywhere in the area, however the staff was very accommodative and let the guests stay with us and ensured our stay was comfortable.Appreciate it so much.
The fact that I knew this hotel just now (been travelling to Launceston multiple times)
Exactly what it said on the tin. No frills but great value , great location and pleasant service.
Basic, cheap. Bed was comfortable and i slept well.Manager was really helpful when my partner was taken onto hospital with potentially extending my stay.
Early check in. Clean room.Microwave. Tea & coffee. Mini fridge coolet. Heater. Bath .Restaurant food amazing. Bar. PIzza shop of their own, can purchase alcohol. Short walk to city mallStaff friendly and professional.
Good location, nice big rooms, clean and comfortable. Liked the two bedroom suite setup.
Had to go through the main bedroom/ sitting area to access the bathroom. A tv in only one bedroom and that one was too small. Only one room had a cooler, 2nd bedroom too hot.
Location & cleanliness with kettle/microwave & mini fridge
Bed could only be accessed on one side
Location and cleanliness
The Sink was in the bedroom not in the bathroom. I’m a person who hates to see other people brush their teeth. It made me uncomfortable.
Cleanliness, Management, Location.
forgettable except for the young...
there was a pretense that you could dine in you room but the setup was ridiculous. no space for anything. The shower was over the bath that had a surround that was too high. I couldn't step in so I couldn't have a shower. The room was upstairs with no lift.
No breakfast, noisy location
Total lack of staff interest/ interaction
Late check in. My flight didn’t arrive til after midnight.
Had to lug my suitcase up the stairs
The room was perfect for my needs. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. I was glad I could lift the sash window.
I would have liked a simple chair to sit on to watch the TV. I'm not used to watching TV from a bed. That's my taste. Also, I would have felt more secure standing on a non-slip mat in the shower, in the bath. I appreciated the safety rail by the bath and had a fine shower.
Location
Very small room, noise of traffic on the road
