The old world charm of the place. Location was good.

The beam felt low to my head.

Staff are always super friendly, check in and out is always a breeze. I've stayed here multiple times and it is my first preference in Launceston. It's easy to get to, parking is always available and ease of access to the city due to it's location. Rooms are always comfortable and its generally a pleasant stay.

Some light dusting of items on bedside tables and lamps could be done. The fan in the bathroom is a little noisy and the fan automatically comes on if turning the light on,

Loved everything about it. Central to walks, cruise, eating venues. Easy to find, parking good. Room was very different, but comfortable, roomy enough for 3 adults. Beds and linen good and super clean. Shower good. Crockery and cutlery available should we have needed it. Handy to know.

This was my second stay here but in a larger room. Comfort was okay, was good to have a bath after doing hikes in the area.

Walls are unfortunately thin. This seems like a known issue since complementary ear plugs were provided, but none the less, expensive place to stay to be kept up till 1:30am with people next door carrying on.

Location was convenient and walking distance to CBD.

Would be great if the room had a microwave and the shower extracting fan had no filter so people walking down the hallway can look straight into the shower.

I loved the location so close to the city but also the gorge. The gorge was so nice. Great spot for running from. Cute little rooms. Surprise windmill. Very charming.

We were very disappointed to find in the morning) thst the fridge had been unplugged at the wall by housekeeping & our food was ruined!

Great location for Cataract Gorge

Floor boards creaked throughout, there were a few stairs and toilet and bathroom were very dated. The noise from traffic at 6am was unexpected and noisy for a smaller town

loved the location and the room itself was very cute. room had a lot of amenities (fridge, sink, dishes, etc). we especially loved that the toilet was separated from the bathroom

we had trouble checking in as the email said check-in til 8pm but when we arrived at the location ~ 7:15p it said check in closed at 7p and to call security. we didn't have a phone line to use (only had internet on our phones) and had to hunt down a local to help. it would've been helpful to get an email ahead of time with instructions on how to access the key if we arrived outside reception hours. also took us a while to realize the rooms were actually further down the road and not right across the street from reception.

There was an event at the Leisure Adventure Park the night we stayed, so the parking was full.

We were lucky enough to get an upgraded room with a bit more space for our family of 4. The beds were comfy and the heating was great. The highway noise outside didn't bother us, even though ear plugs were provided next to the bed.

I like it's basically in the amusement park. If you plan to have some adventure fun there, staying there is so convenient. Room is clean, a bit small, but everything needed is there.

The beds are too soft, at least too soft for me. Lukcy only need to stay there for a night. I wonder if I ask for a harder mattress, would them be able to provide?

Well maintained inside the rooms and outside, the buildings have been well maintained and looked after. The character/historical feel of the property was carried through into the rooms. It was great, and very convenient to be able to go to the restaurant without having to get into the car again and go out.

Nothing I didn't like.

There was this pool/waterfall/park behind the hotel that we had no idea about but that was very cool.

Staff was fantastic and the quietness of no loud neighbors.Love the over all place and still continue to stay when needed.

The toilet made an awful noise and had to press the button to try and make it stop a few times even when it wasn't used.Hot water took ages to come out, near gave up waiting.

Great location, walking distance to town and cataract gorge. A beautiful old building with modern touches.

It was a bit noisy in the room above the tavern. The sink was small if expected to do your own dishes.

Affordable for a family of three. It was comfortable and cosy and we felt a little luxurious for an affordable price. It was close by to the CBD for shopping and restaurants but there were also restaurants right next door.
