Big room. Good for quick overnight stop.

A beautiful old building that used to be a grammar school. The facilties were excellent with a nice comfortable room and bed and at a good price. It was well located in the city area but without much traffic noise. This facility offered free off-street parking, which was a real benefit.

We stayed on the first level, which was only accessible by stairs - this required us to carry our suitcases up the staircase, which was a minor inconvenience.

The Penthouse is a nice room, quiet, and comfortable.

Staff very blunt in reception. Asked for 2 bubbly glasses as none in the room. Nice young man delivered wine glasses 3/4 hour later. Not his fault that he did not know the difference in glasses - shows lack of training.

Our Jet Star flight was cancelled so we had to find a hotel quickly . This hotel came up trumps and thankfully you had a very helpful staff member checking us in at 9:30 pm ( 4/02/26 ) She was very helpful

Bathroom dated … but had a great huge monsoon shower head

Close to the centre of town but quiet and comfortable, with good eating options close by.

No lift to the 2nd or 3rd floor.

Location

Wasn’t very clean, moved a chair had food and dirty tissue. No dish cloth just a used dirty sponge to wash dishes. Only 1 teaspoon. Mattress was dipped and very uncomfortable. . Felt like a pub room. Would not recommend it. Photos looked alot better than what it was. Definitely not worth the $$$ I paid to stay 2 nights.

Great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants & supermarkets.Fabulous suite, tastefully decorated, with a small kitchen, which was well appointed with kitchen utensils.Perfect location for our visit to Festivale.

The location was great as we coumd walk down the street easily

One of the decorative pillows had something gross on it. There was small bits of paper on the ground from previous people the second night we stayed on the 13th Jan.It would have been good if the room had bowls, plates and cutlery as we didnt us the breakfast opption.

I liked the central location and that the room was clean and modern. We left a couple items behind and staff phoned me about it and mailed it interstate. Great work.

No elevator. Carrying suitcases to the 3rd floor was a bit of hard work.

Friendly, helpful reception staff; comfortable, clean and spacious room. Loved the character of the original section of the property even though we stayed in the more modern motel accomodation behind.

We realise the difficulties of staffing a facility on a public holiday but it would have been nice if the dining room was open.
