Pros +
- Great Location, amenities and the rooms were great size. Very clean and great service from the staff ! Will stay again if we’re back in Launceston.
- Quiet location for being so close to the cbd.
- It had a very comfortable feel to it unlike other motels I stayed at during my holiday. The bed linen & towels in bathroom were superior compared to other motels usual white sheets. The shower head was amazing in the bathroom, it felt like getting a massage which was definitely appreciated after a long day of driving to Launceston. The lady on reception was beautiful & very informative...making me feel very welcome.
Cons -
- We were in a loft room with sloping ceilings and we kept bumping our heads
- Nothing everything was perfect. Only thing I would say & this would be my fault for choosing the type of room that I did, was it didn't have kitchen facilities so would choose more of the apartment style next time I come. As I do plan to return!

A 2-bedroom maisonette for a reasonable price was a terrific success - not cheap, but very good value. Beautifully designed with every comfort seen to. Muted colours, lovely natural light, superb beds. I'll be back.
The accommodation had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, roomy, very clean and it felt inviting. Little extras in the bathroom, large walk in robe to hang clothes and store luggage.
All good
Great location. Plenty of carparking. Walk in wardrobe was a pleasant surprise
Rooms were clean, easy simple check in and close to the city center
Room was fabulous. Comfortable, clean, and spacious. Along a little laneway off the road with parking there. Just a short walk to restaurants. Highly recommended
Super clean and facilities all we need for staying. Free bottles of water in the fridge were very kind in hot weather. Close to the city and easy dining out or shopping. Parking in front of unit. Highly recommended!
If upstairs bedrooms have aircon that would be perfect.
Spacious, well-appointed, convenient, clean and good value
The room is a little studio with all what you need. Clean, modern and very confortable.
It can be challenging for a some people to access this hotel as it is a steep path.
The woman managing the property was lovely, helpful and welcoming. The room was large and very pleasant and featured an outdoor courtyard.
Unfortunately there appears to be little soundproofing in the walls and floors. We were in a ground floor room, as requested. The people above sounded like elephants and we could hear them talking. The property included earplugs in the bathroom accessories, which I was very grateful for and used to sleep. This was effective. I gather the noise has bothered other customers previously. So it's good to see that they've probably responded to feedback. Although I mention the noise, due to the earplugs and the lovely staff, we enjoyed our stay. Also, the location was great, but be aware that if you're walking, it is a steep incline up the driveway to the rooms.
Stayed for 3 nights and on 2nd day the upstairs room got customers and it was down hill from there on, we could hear every single movement, the bathroom, walking, pushing bags, going up stairs, all if it , what's desperately needed is good insulation so downstairs people can sleep in peace Also, fly screen at least on couple of windows so it can be opened for fresh air.
Great location in the CBD. The room was large, well equipped and spacious and worked really well for three people travelling as a family. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly and accomodating (thanks to Rumali and Marcus).
The walls were thin so you could hear people in other rooms, but they provided earplugs so it wasn't an issue for sleeping.
- Location is good- Staff is nice
• For the two-bedroom townhouse, there is no air conditioner on the upper floor. If you open the window for better ventilation, small insects will definitely get into the house.• The trees planted outside are blown by the wind and keep hitting the window, making it so noisy at night that it’s impossible to sleep.
Central, spacious and comfortable.
We loved Unit 1 more than unit 4. Unit 1 Layout was practical and we loved the deck at the back. Loved it, garden was beautiful, proximity to the CBD was also great.
As above Unit 4 - layout not practical, have to fill kettle from bathroom on opposite side of room and walk it back through your unit?? Just an observation more than complaint. (and I couldn't reach the ripe apricots!!)
Check in was smooth and the staff were helpful in suggestion points of interest in the area. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was very convenient to the shops, Sunday harvest market, the city park and many restaurants.
The doors were a bit sqeaky but could be fixed with a bit of door WD40. Our bathroom door in particuar took a lot of effort to close properly. The walk back up the driveway was rather steep and could be a problem for those with mobility issues. Google Maps also took us to the wrong location, Balmoral on York, but a quick phone call set us in the right direction.
Location, spacious, lovely gardens
Noise from upstairs, no sink except bathroom
Great find, tucked away from the busy street but also walking distance to restaurants, shops and Launceston Mall. Rooms very clean and bedding super comfortable. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
