Pros +
- The decor of the hotel
- Central location, helpful and informative staff, spacious apartment (including a nice view from the balcony) and comfortable bed.
- Walking distance to CBD
Cons -
- Too few toiletries provided.
- Very noisy intersection, and being in the stables meant roof height was very low, 3 skylights facing the afternoon sun but couldn't be opened for any fresh air so it feels very stuffy, yes there was aircon which we had to have on even though it was only 21° outside. Bathroom was very basic as were the kitchenette facilities, it just needs an update all around.
- I usually enjoy budget hotels, but this one was particularly disappointing. The room felt very stuffy and there was no way to open the window for fresh air. The curtains had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant, and there wasn’t enough toilet paper provided. Overall, it made for an uncomfortable stay.

Loved the decor, bed was comfy, nice clean bathroom.

The staff are very helpful. I was travelling for work and the hotel is located well as it is only a flat and short walk into the CBD. This is my preferred accommodation when travelling to Launceston.
Very nice, clean, comfortable.
It was simple, clean and easy to utilize.
I really love your hotel! The vibe is great—warm, cozy, vintage, and beautifully designed. The owner was always very responsive and kind. There’s also parking available, and there’s a church right across the street that you can easily walk to.Overall, I was very impressed and truly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this place!
Exceptional service.
I'm happy I had a second-floor room as the ground floor rooms open straight into the courtyard. It was a hot couple of days, and everyone had their doors open - I felt like I was disrespecting the privacy of the ground floor patrons by walking through the courtyard.
Loved the location. Luvly old building with lots of character.
The shower. Hardly any water flow.
Great location. Well appointed rooms. Very helpful staff.
The crockery was not washed. There was hair in the towels.
Beautiful room, clean and cute.
We bought India take away. There was a table in our room and we just wanted to eat our food in our room. We couldn't find bowls, plates or any cutlery! Only one teaspoon. Fingers and drinking the sauce out of the container was not enjoyable at all!Told the lady on the desk before we left and she couldn't care less. Told me that no one supply these items with accommodation any more! I beg to differ. Another person we spoke with said that their children had to eat their cereal out on the tiny cups and they too weren't impressed.
Great location, staff and spacious room
Location was good
Decor was dated Burnt my self in the shower as the hot and cold labels noLonger visible Bathroom looked like a grandmothers bathroon there is a difference between eclectic and just tired Finally found the fridge the next morning who would have thought it was in the wardrobe ?? had to cancel my last night I checked in and mentioned it but no response went and asked again and they said that booking.com would charge 50% fee if the room was nicer would maybe have stayed but was happy to just cut my losses and leave and pay. Can hear other rooms in the night and the room is small
Good location, large room, free parking
Extremely over priced, located on busy, noisy road. Very outdated and needs a lot of updating.
Great property in the west end of Launceston. Ample parking and easy access.
Good location and bathroom.
Overall room size was quite small.
I stayed in the converted stables (lower room) which had a lovely large king bed on tiled floors. From the hotel, the CBD, parks and river are all within 5 - 10 minutes walk.
These comments do not detract from the room and I would stay there again. The TV is older so it's not possible to stream from your device and the internet was slow on occasions; however, both Telstra and Vodafone networks have good reception at the hotel.
