Pros +
- Breakfast was ok
- Reception are friendly and they have a dog on site which is very cute
- Great location, friendly staff and a beautiful black Labrador to pat
Cons -
- Dinner menu is horrid and what I ordered came out cold.should stick to more Australian menu and use local produce like crayfish, salmon and beef.
- No coffee machine in room, they quality of robes etc could be a level higher for the price
- The bed was atrocious- both my husband and i have come away with very sore backs. They sagged so you got caught in a sink hole and can’t believe how poorly comfortable the beds were ultimately affecting our ability to sleep. On the Saturday night there was extremely loud hooning in the street that went for an hoiur and surprised Peppers didnt do anything about it

Location, room, clean.
Room, lounge, staff, Reception doggie, cocktails, food
Location cleanliness great food
The room, facilities etc were very good, no major complaints. The rooms had all the facilities expected from a good hotel
At check in we found that we had not ticked the breakfast box but our friends had - we corrected that. We were told that breakfast would not be available at our preferred time of 7am but that we could be accommodated at 07:30. On arrival at the breakfast in the morning, we were met by some rude gentleman who firstly served the people behind us and then told us there was no booking and that it was fully booked. We went to reception who told us the breakfast was booked and phoned the guy in the restaurant and a disagreement ensued between the staff members. We decided it was just unpleasant so we requested a refund and left the premises
The location, food and room
Was a Sunday so no laundry.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Great design, big rooms, excellent restaurant and bar. Staff, amenities, design and location are world class. It was way better than I expected.
Room was unique and very spacious
Breakfast menu was fiddly, limited to a main and side, for example cereal and a slice of toast, and booking was required to enable delivery of such a specific choice from the menu
Great staff, rooms, facilities and cleanliness
Easy location for driving and parking. Good rooms.
Breakfast process was annoying. Normally when paying for breakfast you would have the choice of cereal and toast and then eggs etc if you wanted. The breakfast set at Sili is very scripted and inefficient for the customer. You choose 1 item from 3 sections.
Lovely quiet hotelLovely attentive staffFood was very goodGood positionVery quiet right on the Tamar River
Bit pricey in the Alcohol Food menu same each day ( but did have a good selection)
Lots of places for breakfast, location good. We were able to walk into town.
Was disappointed with the available drawer/shelving space.. no bedside shelves or cupboards, only one shelf in the wardrobe below the room safe? We were staying for 5 nights in a premium suite, I expected better.
Perfect weekend get away to stay - nice view of nature, good place for morning and night walking, the room just make an excellent comfort to rest after busy day!
It was the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in, the staff were lovely, the room was great with everything we needed, great shower and a really comfy bed, we would most certainly go back and in fact would love to!!
Huge rooms, comfy bed, large bathroom, loved Archie the hotel Labrador
The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the Gorge, the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. We had delicious food in the restaurant, all of the staff were attentive and friendly. Everyone who worked at Peppers were super nice!
There was nothing we didn’t like
Everything went well, food, room and location
