    • I had a private room with a single bed and a private bathroom. The room has a ceiling fan which made the room fresh enough for me. The room and facilities were clean. Towels and toilet paper was provided. There is also a small table and chair in the room + two chairs in front of the door of the room to enjoy the view. The building has a very nice roof terrace with a view on Mount Kilimanjaro. The vibe overall is very chill and friendly. Staff is very friendly, helpful and flexible with check in. I arrived much earlier than check in time but was immediately provided with the room. The garden and reception are well decorated and nice to hang out. The location is very good since it’s on the main street and only 10 minutes walking from the bus station. There are nice cafes and restaurants nearby. There is no Bolt in Moshi but there are constantly bajjaji’s passing on the main street so it’s very easy to catch a ride when you step out of the hotel. There is a shuttle bus from Kibo Tower to Kilimanjaro airport if you fly with Air Tanzania which costs only 10.000 tsh (november 2024). You can just show up at specific times depending on the flight departure so it’s good to go to the Air Tanzania office to ask their staff about this. I combined the walk to Kibo Tower with sightseeing and a walk through the park, which is a nice opportunity to see the colorful autumn like trees. The shuttle bus is organized by Air Tanzania so it’s just a tip ;)

    Cons -

    • Toilets not flushing, dusty rooms, double booking.
    • Breakfast is so simple, the competition infront include eggs, for the same price.
    • The guy from the reception came to disturb in my sleeping time, claiming for payment, and was paid already online, holding my card by booking. And several nights booked, stayed more than a month and remain 1 week already paid.Really annoying

    Location

In the beginning the staff was kind, after a month, no more kindness. It's ok but definitely, is the minimum that could make the difference, considering the furniture is old, the bed make noise with any movement, feeling the metals in the back, the hotel looks more of a museum than a current hotel

    7RobertoPosted on: 10-7-2024

    Close to the bus station

Cold water, the staff forgot switch the hot water

    6RobertoPosted on: 9-28-2024

Closer to town, practical and fair for the price

No wifi at all, impacting my job, causing financial loses, no compensation, no alternative options, breakfast really simple, a lot power cuts, no generator

    Beds are comfortable

Wifi did not workToilet looks like a horror movie.

The lady at reception Esther was very helpful. The room (101) was very very smal but there was a mosquito net and a fan.. the hotel was very busy and fully booked due to the Kili marathon the next day.

There was no water so no shower after a long tyring flight. Next morning it took them until 12 am to get the water back and i finally could have a shower.

Staff kindness Really good value for moneyThe room was clean Good breakfast on the roof top

    8GeorgePosted on: 1-28-2024

Breakfast was good and at my request it was served early enough, many thanks to the kind act of the staff, I real needed to "fuel my body" for the kili Marathon.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is in the city center, and there is an amazing view of the Kilimanjaro and the sunset from the rooftop bar. My room was big with a comfortable bed and I paid a very good price for a private room, less, than I paid for a shared dorm on the other side of the road previously. Everyone from the staff way very kind.

Clean and quiet in the center of Moshi, breathtaking view of Mt Kilimajaro and extremly friendly staff. What more could zou want at this price!?

    9ChristopherPosted on: 7-28-2023

A good room at a good price. The central location and fantastic view of Kilimanjaro make this my favorite place to stay in Moshi.

I noticed the hot water was provided when there were many guests but not when the hotel was mainly empty.

mosquito nets on windows and around bed had holes. we got so many bites!

I made a booking last minute as my previous hotel was booked. Booking.com confirmed the booking, but when I arrived i was told there was no room as they had given the room to someone else before checking to see if it had been booked. Terrible. Then suddenly they said they had one last room would we like to see it. Before we could do so another man arrived and demanded the room - which they gave him, DESPITE the fact that we had a booking with you and he had none. I would advise Booking.com to cease working with this hotel.

Poor staff attitude and double booking

    1DavidPosted on: 1-5-2022

I Just liked the location and the closeness to the town center.

Everything to be honest. The services were terrible, the bathroom wasn’t sanitary, the fan was noisy, the towel wasn’t clean, the balcony was dusty. I was so disappointed.
