Hotel Portao Diaz

It seemed secure and safe once inside. The shower was big and high enough for a taller person

No towels in the room when I checked in.The floor was dirty as the towel picked up dirt when it was on the floor by the showerNo ice available on check inBlack mold in the cabinet Room service should be automatic not when we ask for it The area driving to hotel doesn’t seem safe late at night.No one to help with luggage Pool didn’t look clean

Reception was very helpful and friendly. Very welcoming as well.

Truck pulling out at midnight, people talking very loud leaving and noise again when they returned a few minutes later.

Beds were comfy & there was DSTV.

1)We had a shower at 8pm, it was ICE cold. 2)The fact that there are no pictures that show it's near a location is not acceptable.

The kids like the swimming pool and the wifi

The beds /matrass are extremely dirty theirs even blood stains on it and it smells

The location is shocking The building is shocking, nothing like advertised on the website.I will never recommend this place, we didn’t stay there. We went looking for other accommodation that night so it costed us double & Portal Diaz would not even refund a portion of what we paid.This is going on Facebook. People need to know that it is a back packers shack & not a hotel as advertised. Very very disappointing.. it’s actually robbery.

Didn't have breakfast. I ask for tea and their reaction was poor. Their reason is that they give coffee because the quest never ask for tea. I ask a cup they say only mugs. I'm really disappointed.

The manner Jayden or Jayline spoke to me. He was arrogant and if he is in charge. Almost forgot the floor of our room was sticky and the fridge needs attention

We did not actually stay there. The location was not what we had expected and we did not feel safe. We found alternate accommodation.

The reception lady very helpful ? ?

We booked via booking.com we thought we booked self catering but ended up with just bedroom. We were having frizen meats with us with no fridge in our room. The manager didn't even wanted to help us she gave my husband attitude. She can learn alot from the front desk. The place very noisy up until the wee hours of the morning. Just when I dozed off the tour bus was standing right outside our window that decided to start his bus up at 6 in the morning there was no consideration for the other guest. I won't book again there.

Very noisy, staff unfriendly no etiquette, walls very dull paint, old taps that made noise, Gambling slots on the property,

Very clean. Staff very friendly. Location not bad at all. Very accommodating and they had no problem with freezing our 20kg of meat and chicken in their freezer. Would return anytime...

There was a lot of noise from people talking too loud during the night.Coffee and tea were provided in the room but no cups or glasses.

There's no cutlery, plates, fridge and microwave. The rooms are too dark there isn't enough lighting. The rooms smelled damp.The bathroom didn't have a toilet brush

Super noisy. Got woken up twice with people continuously talking / shouting down the passage. Before that there was a street fight / chaotic gathering across the road which lasted at least 20 minutes. Tried to drown out the noise with the rooms fan but that made rattled aswell.

I did not stay there due to the location and found other accommodation at a price premium. Disgusting service from you

The location was inappropriate and totally unacceptable from Booking. Com. I would have thought a company like Booking. Com would know what is good or bad in terms of location. I expect to be refunded in full. I am disgusted in your service.

We normally make use of Portao Diaz Hotel when we visit our family in Groot Brak River and George.It is need and tidy and some of the people there remember us from visiting through the years. The view over the sea from our room, is each and every time my main thing in the mornings. I love the view.

We love the friendliness of the staff. Especially the receptionists.When we get to the reception in the morning yesterday, they greet us very friendly and remembered that she told us to have a free breakfast when we come again, after an experience the previous time. Which we got from them yesterday. Portao Diaz Hotel is situated near everything you need. The shops, doctors, hospital, casino and off cause the sea.

Comfortable room

The stove wasnt working, the bar was closed at 21:30 which is very inconvenient for a "hotel" to close facilities so early.Which meant we had to go sleep at 21:30 on a Friday evening. The place advertised was not the same place we stayed at which means u advertise under false pretenses.

I like the advert pictures. However the actual place is nothing in comparison to the adverts.

Misleading advertising and I did not feel safe. We ended up booking at another place.bi would not recommend this to anyone. As a company doing their advertising you should visit the place before doing business. This is very bad for business. I booked with your company as you have a trusting record but this place will not do any business justice.

The shower and bed

Noise and smoke of cigarettes and the hotel is total not good for people who are expecting high standard bcz is in the township.
