Staff goes out of the way to be helpful..... without fawning. price is very reasonable for a hotel of this quality. The whole thing is first rate.

Outstanding hotel, a large room, beautiful linen on the bed, huge shower and nice balcony with amazing sea views . The reception staff were very welcoming and so helpful.The restaurant was very good , and the prices are very reasonable.Do try their own in house brewed gin, it is very tasty.

The aircon in the bedroom did not work

Good location. Worked for a night at garden route.

Room had no black out for the night. Staff was fine but not kind. No elevators to get to our room.

The Dinner in the Restaurant was very enjoyable.

The suite were not freshly cleaned, the floors were very dirty. I had to ask for a dishcloth for instance.

Pool on the small side and not heated. However lovely beach not far away. Gym didn’t have much equipment but was adequate for our needs

The room smelled bad at all time. Smell from the bathroom. The floor was dirty. The food in the restaurant was really lit fresh seas food. The hotel was also under renovation. Very not confortable at all

The location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Complimentary glass of apple juice on arrival and biscuits late evening were a nice touch.

We could not get enough hot water for a decent shower. Only lukewarm. This was disappointing for a 2K per night stay.

Think if you go to early breakfast hot food rewarmed not fresh cooked unlike other protea hotels Bread not that fr Reception staff wonderful so helpful

The location

The room was not maintained. The soap was empty, the remote was not working, the basin did not drain and the cleaning was not proper

Pretty and tasteful decor. Good mix of facilities.

Unfriendly received at reception, booked a sea view room but got a view of a wall and mess. No hot water to shower, no bath, no cold drinking water just refilled water which was too hot to drink and too big to refrigerate. No gown or slippers. No biscuit with the coffee or tea facility. We paid a premium rate at a 4 star hotel which excluded breakfast and most of the important little things for comfort.

The staff were very helpful ,friendly and professional.

We had a wonderful stay and Daniesha at reception made us feel so welcome. All the staff were friendly.Our room had a balcony which overlook the harbour as well as the ocean. The sunsets were amazing from the balcony.There are a lot of coffee shops as well as a Checkers in walking distance from the hotel.There is also a lovely restaurant on the hotel grounds called The Gannet. It is very popular and always busy. We had some lovely meals there.

The pillows were too soft for me.
