Old Courtyard Hotel

The historic atmosphere of the hotel - it has been beautifully restored. A great location within walking distance to everything in Fort Kochin. Clean and comfortable room.

The breakfast could have been more imaginative and varied.The value for money compared to other hotels in the area - it was a little expensive.

It is a small old hotel in the middle of Fort Kochi. All rooms face the courtyard with a small swimming pool. Verandah is a good place to sit and spend time in the afternoon, when it is too hot to move around. Rooms are nice and comfortable size.

For me, it was not an issue, but steep stairs may be difficult for a senior person. It was not really a problem during my stay, but noise from the other room could be an issue if they are playing music or talking loudly.

Excellent location within walking distance of many attractions. The lovely breakfast was served outside in the courtyard. Our beautiful room had character features while retaining comfort. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower didn’t drain very well. There was very little noise separation from adjoining rooms.

The location was fantastic, staff were wonderful and helpful. The pool to cool off after sightseeing was a bonus. Great location to access the new Water Metro.

The location of this beautiful and carefully restored building could not be better - so many sights and amenities within easy walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff, quiet relaxing courtyard. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend

The beautiful architecture & antique furniture was just exquisite. We stayed in two rooms, 1 up, 1 downBoth were lovely big rooms, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Breakfast was wonderful as was the beautiful lady who served with a charming smile to start the day. All staff were exceptional Nhilima when we arrived, Benny overnight & anther gentleman. All friendly & helpful

It's a lovely building well-located for exploring Fort Kochi. Beds are comfortable, shower strong, breakfast was very good. There is wifi but it can be erratic.

One improvement could be to invest in quieter a/c, it's very effective, and necessary in the heat of Kochi, but it's very loud. Older guests (me) might have difficulty with the stairs I personally don't respond well to being badgered for feedback with encouragement for it to be positive to incentivise the staff. But that's just me!

It’s a very nicely refurbished old Kochi home — lots of atmosphere, a historic feeling, attractive in the central courtyard and in the bedrooms. Two of our 3 rooms were quite large. Bathrooms were also large and worked well. It doesn’t have a high-end feeling, rather a pleasant simplicity.

It was impossible to communicate with the hotel. They indicated that they had a problem processing our payment, but never responded to many efforts on our part to communicate back to them with repeated emails and efforts to phone on the 2 phone numbers listed on booking.com and on their website. We therefore arrived very anxious that we were being scammed or had lost our booking as a result of non-payment. Also, they served a super simple breakfast at a fairly high price for what it was — so we had breakfast elsewhere.
