Park Lake Luxury Hotel

Everything, staff, rooms. Best hotel we stayed at in Chile.

The location was great, right between Villarica and Pucon. 10 min from each. Also the hotel was “right” size, not too big and not too small, related to amount of guests. Breakfast was great, food was very high quality and very well prepared. Congrats to the chef. Beds were very comfortable and cleanliness was good.

Pool music was too loud, all day and repetitive which spoiled the view and the mood which is to enjoy the view, relaxation and read in peace. I would suggest no music or really low volume. Also, the inner pool could have a higher temperature, it was “not cold”. In a place where there are a lot of hot springs having a warmer pool would have been nice.

Service was bad: checking in took 20 minutes in a line. They gave a room under the bar/restaurant with noise up until 1am. and no joking, no towels??!' They change my room to another one beneath the level I was paying for; change again to another room...no noise, same level but air condition didn't work; at check out they offer $98 for the troubles I accept it because there is no way they will change. Besides they say they are luxury, far from it. The are " Fake Luxury".

Not enough lounge chairs in the shade. Pool was a bit small. Not given enough coffee pods or soaps.

Bad service, bad cleaning

The location is fabulous, including a nice spa and lots of common areas, including a pool room and indoor (as well as outdoor) pool for rainy days. But most surprising for an hotel of this size is the quality of the food. After our first night, we did not bother to go out and drive after darkness and had our four dinners there, to our outmost pleasure (and many thanks to the Chef!). Also worth noting is the kindness and efficiency of the staff allover, with gold medal to the smiley and very efficient Josephine at the reception. We stayed 4 days and wish we would have stayed more, well informed for activities by the dedicated and enthusiast guides at the tourist desk in the lobby. Congratulations to all the team and beautiful Chili (offering fabulous sceneries) that deserves much more international tourists. Pucon is definitively the place to go for outdoor activities.

The large balcony was great. The room size was comfortable. The beds were great too. We loved the breakfasts. Everyone on the staff is super friendly.

The pillows were too thick for all of us.

Stunning location and lake views

Deficient Customer service, low attention to details and poor overall stay experience. Lack of personal and low cleanliness in room. The personnel was not trained to provide a good experience to the guess or the management is not interested about it. Overall the luxury part of their name pans out to be an over statement.

This is possibly the BEST hotel in Chile. A must stay in this region. Clean Comfortable Quiet Close to everything and the staff are incredible

The service, the pool and the SPA services. The breakfast was exceptional, really good, the views from the whole hotel were very nice! The room was perfect, had absolutely everything we needed for a nice stay.

I had some issues with room service, as some items that never arrived.

The hotel was complete with everything we could ask for. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing. The location was great, quiet and with beautiful views of the lake. We had a car so it was really easy to go to Pucon’s center. We already want to come back in the spring/summer :)

Nothing, it was amazing. The only comment I have is that the room pictures in the app made it look like out suite had a balcony. It didnt, but it was HUGE and as it was cold, it didnt really make a difference. And really, the hotel was incredible, I would come back without a thought.

The lake view from the room was amazing. The room was very comfortable and had enough space for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The spa infrastructure is great. There is a lot of entertainment for children (game arcade, mini golf, kids' room). The service provided by the hotel staff in general was excellent and done in a timely manner (e.g. front desk, room service, restaurant). The daily breakfast service was very organized and there was some good variety of options.

We ordered 2 pizzas, for example, and they were behind our expectations compared with options outside the hotel. In general, some of the basic food / drinks were really expensive (even traditional Chilean sandwiches or a single cup of wine). The tour staff at the reception were kind, but they offered to send us a list of nice-to-visit spots, but they didn't.
