Suitable location for my visit to JCU

Allowing smoking around the rooms in the motel area. I came back everyday to a cigarette smelling room....I don't smoke and have asthma so not great.

No WiFi in the room, management needs to mention that for customers that router doesn?t cover the certain rooms

Great spot to stay with young kids. Safe area for kids to wake up, jump on scooters and cruise around the park. Kids loved the water park, slides and pool. Would definitely stay here again if in Townsville.

Not much to dislike, rooms were indicative of the cost; nothing special but good value. WiFi was no good but internet isnt everything!

Friendly & welcoming, accommodating with late check-in and early checkout. Clean and tidy facilities.The pool and waterslides are great for the kids along with the jumping pillow. My villa was a single queen bedroom, it was compact, but well set out. TV quite small and near the ceiling makes it hard to see from the lounge. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Few marks on walls and floors, tiles chipped etc, but overall clean and tidy. Literally only a set of 2 of everything in the 2 person villa, that goes for utensils as well so was washing up quite often. The best thing, was the AC - it worked perfectly and was in both living room, and bedroom. We had an enjoyable stay.

Nothing that can be changed by the park, just that the distance from town was more than I had anticipated and being on the main road, was a little noisy with the trucks.

The location was great for the tournament I was attending

The bed that I chose not to sleep on had mould on the fitted sheet

The cabin had very comprehensive kitchen amenities and was well designed for space for two individuals traveling together. The campground is a lovely area with great shared bathroom facilities, laundry etc.

Cabin old and in need of some repairs. Not very clean - there were dusty cobwebs around the ceiling and around the roller blinds. One towel rail had been broken off and not replaced. The area behind the cabin was dusty with rubbish lying around, not very nice to look at when coming in and out of the door.

The staff was trying to be helpful

Wifi didn't work most of the time.

The cabin was lovely and comfortable. The pool and water slides area was super fun for everyone. Only downside was the jumping pillow has a hole in it. Will be back!

Being told I was upgraded to a cabin that cost less per night than I paid for our original motel room.

The cabin was great and private. All staff were so friendly. The water park was incredible.

More milk coffee and sugar ?

I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities of the park and cleanliness of the room I stayed in as well as the park over all. I didn't see anything that I would consider off putting in the place. The room was a little dated and worn, but while I was there it looked like some of the rooms were undergoing a complete makeover. This would suggest that the room I had will soon get the makeover it needed. that said for the money especially it was more than passable for a week of work I was there for. I would happily stay again.

The traffic noise and noise from other guests was easily heard in the room I was in. Although I wasn't there most of the day, I could see how this would be an issue for some. It wasn't so bad it would interrupt sleep and most guests were well settled and quiet by about 9pm. That said some additional sound proofing would go a long way in making the stay more pleasant.

Quiet and comfortable.

Could not turn air conditioners to heat in all rooms (only 1 out of 3 could be changed but only ran for a few minutes at a time).

Waterpark and the size of the cabin. Sharon from the maintenance /cleaning was so very accomodating and welcoming. All staff very friendly and welcoming.

The lack of internet, very poor. Constantly had to use hotspot and data for the children.

The pool was gorgeous and clean and the staff were very nice! There is also a servo right next to the park with delicious food.

The door to our cabin didn’t lock and lots of things in the cabin were broken.

The location was great but I had people next up all night drinking and disbursing my peace

People drinking untill 2.30 am in the morning I'm 21 month sober and drug free I found it hard

Clean & tidy. Easy to find. Great location close to shops & servo right next door. Easy after hours check in. Close to the hospital & Ronald McDonald House.

Pool times opened later than they stated on the gates. Nothing major just had some excited kids waiting for them to be unlocked over the weekend.

Modern unit with good aircon, excellent cooking equipment etc. Lovely welcome gift and farewell lollies - just a lovely touch. We were visiting my brother with a medical emergency and the staff let us check in early and check out a bit later, they loaned us an umbrella and basically whatever we needed, they assisted. Excellent place to stay.

Cold tap in bathroom made a loud groaning sound and hot water pressure not great.
