Clarion Hotel Townsville

The location was awesome. I loved the size of the room. The staff was very helpful and supporting, especially with Corona fall out in the world. Brent Bundy Ridegump

I did not like anything!

Was a couple of minor things wrong upon check in, was rectified immediately

Customer service, we had an air-conditioner issue from the get go, they swapped rooms for us with no fuss

Room needed more individual lighting in kitchen area

Beautiful room, friendly staff and close to the Cowboys' League club.

Minor maintenance required in the room and no secure parking for my vehicle.

We liked the location, and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and they had a cute coffee machine with pods..

The lighting was absolutely despicable.. if your a woman trying to do make up in this room after dark.. with the dull yellow lighting good luck.. There was no balcony or windows that opened.. and no fan.. So the air felt a bit congested.. Especially after showering.. apart from that it was a comfortable room for one night stay.

Roof not finished painting would have been a five minute job but not bothered then charged 179 for the night safe bolted to cupboard shelf. So not safe was ok but foyer not finished felt a bit like old office block

No restaurant as advertised. Terrible parking. Tiny room. Rubbish tea and coffee supplies. All out not worth the money at all. False advertising.

The outside aircon units are in the basement garage resulting in temperature of over 40 degrees where our car was parked, so we moved it the outside car park

The only good thing about the Clarion was the Beds, very comfortable.

No Parking, only has about 10 Parking Spots for all the Guests. Extremely hard to get in and out of, Guests need proper parking now in Townsville. It’s too unsafe to leave your car on the Street. Very old looking Property. Mouldy Shower, bad smell of something being wet like carpet. Can’t open windows so no fresh air.

Close to CBD. Very clean and the bed very comfortable.

The location was so central to the city - the rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The lack of ventilation in the bathroom

HUGE room. They did say they'd upgraded me to a King Size room. It was great to have such a lot of space. The bed was also super comfortable- which is one of my main criteria for a hotel - it must have a comfy bed. The staff were AMAZING. Every single one of them were super helpful and friendly.

Nothing major. It's in a great position for the city centre but the issue is that the Townsville city centre is not exactly a tourist spot but main attractions in Townsville are only minutes away .... and sometimes it's nice to be away from tourist spots

The Clarion is a great location for accessing the main areas of town in particular City Lane. I have stayed here a few times now and the rooms are spacious and well appointed for a hotel.

The beds are too soft for me, but if you like a softer bed this is not a problem.

The staff were fantastic

The fridge didn’t work, the shower leak water on the bathroom floor, the shower pump soap was empty, the TV remote up button didn’t work.

Comfy, clean, spacious room. Good location and friendly staff.
