Central Holborn Apartments

The hotel pool was amazing, the rooms are big and nice, and the location is unmatched.

The spa could have been warmer.

We enjoy the tranquility and privacy of the river view appartments, rooms are spacious and the rooftop pool an excellent addition. Location is also great with a variety of eating options to suit different tastes.

Not really much to dislike here.

The lady at reception was beautiful, very welcoming and helpful, the pool area was nice, we had to spend most of the time out there because the room was teeny tiny?

The room was a shoe box, I actually paid for a studio apartment and got a hotel room with a tiny bar fridge smaller then a normal bar fridge? wow!!

It's was fairly central and would be a great place to stay if attending the footy or supercars

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 adults and were surprised to see how sparsely decorated the apartment was, 1 2 n a half seater couch for potentially 4 adults, no other seats apart from dining chairs so it felt a little like a prison cell and I'm sorry but when you pay near $300@ night the beds should be alot better than those they currently have, I've stayed in an Ibis in Cairns for $99@night and the beds were great...you could easily feel the springs in them. We were booked for 3 nights but on the 2nd night the group in the room next door decided to have a party and it was impossible to sleep, I rang the reception and got an answer machine, the party went past 2.30am and in the morning we decided to find somewhere else to spend the 3rd night. They contacted me afterwards, apologised for the group and that they had evicted them but were unable to garauntee if I would be refunded the 3rd night.We now need to travel regularly to Tville as our daughter is in the military but will seek elsewhere next trip.

We liked the location.

The balcony couldn’t be used because the key was not available to unlock it. We chose this accomodation because of the river view. Our family was looking forward for this but unfortunate that there was no attempt to get it unlocked during our three night stay. In this case it was not worth the price we paid and receptionist said there won’t be any refund. Also a laundary basket in the apartment is needed.

View was good

Air conditioner in my room made quite a loud noise when ever it was switched on.So, it could not be used at night when it was very hot.Also the veranda lights outside my room are very bright and make sleeping difficult.The bathroom basin does not have a plug.

Gym and pool was under maintenance. And wasn't told when checked in or any communication. They gave us 2 towels and there was 4 of us and we didn't know until night time. Old TV

Not much too like however it was within walking distance a distance to the Cowboys stadium.

The room smelt and appeared dirty. Stains all over the carpet and dirty walls. We were given one blanket for 4 guests. Definitely not worth the money paid.

We had a lovely stay. Great central location, easy to get around. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean.

Very central, easy walk to centre of town, Cowboys stadium, restaurants, cinemas and bars. Very nice, secure building, no random people just walking in and out of the building. Car park very secure and did not flood during local flooding event, property felt very safe and secure during weather event.

Not a fan of outdoor furniture being used indoors. Rattan furniture with weather resistant cushions does not scream comfort and it was uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Could not stretch out as the "lounge" was a two seater and it was coupled with two single chairs, like you would put on a deck or a verandah. Accomodation sleeps up to 5 people but insufficient and improper furniture in the lounge room only accomodated 4 people seated? Where are the nice leather looking lounges that are shown in the images of the apartment, when booking? Why ruin the entire room by putting OUTDOOR FURNITURE inside the main living room? I wouldn't stay in this apartment again if the OUTDOOR FURNITURE remained INDOORS.Also not sound proof. Upstairs could be heard stomping around and drangging furniture across the floor for the 3 nights of our stay.

Disappointing

We booked in and paid mid afternoon. After spending a long day with a sick relative at the hospital we went to check in. We were told we hadn’t paid so they didn’t keep a room. I showed proof it was paid for with PayPal. Thankfully the room had not been given to someone else.

The roon was not cleaned. The room they advertised was not the same as the website and when i asked about it . they said they were all the same.?? We Changed hotel because of the gym . but again the gym had been closed since Nov and there was no notice about this on the website. so very disappointed with staff and hotel. They have a gym next door, they should of arranged deals with the company, while their gym was closed...

The location was great. The apartment size was also fantastic.

The mattress in the master bedroom leaves a lot to be desired. You can feel every spring. Also, the blanket had an unknown substance on it and was revolting. This sofa was very dirty and in desperate need of a deep clean.

Had a bad smell. Late check in cause they didn’t have many staff on. Room very run down.

I liked that the first one bedroom apartment that I stayed for a week with was very spacious and clean and bathroom was very nice and big and the tv had Netflix.

I booked the same one bedroom apartment the second time but they gave me a completely different room and was very small I payed the same price and the first room I stayed in and the bed sheets were dirty had stains on it and even the floors and it was just not cleaned at all there you would think a cleaner would clean the room before you check in but nope nothing like that here I wish I could get my money back because it was so expensive!

Good location

Air con was noisy and didn’t work real well. There was stains on the carpet and an unusual smell in the bedroom.

Room was a little claustrophobic, small, high windows so unable to see outside.
