About
Housed in a refurbished late 1800s mansion, this quiet hotel has a free relaxation area with hot tub, sauna and fireplace. It is a 10 minutes’ walk from Arvidsjaur Station and offers free WiFi and parking. A building extension was added in 2014 and the rooms here feature private bathrooms and some with wheelchair accessibility. Other rooms at the timbered Lapland Lodge are individually decorated and have shared bathroom facilities. A breakfast buffet is served in the cozy dining room. During warmer months, the hotel terrace is a nice place to relax with a book. Hotel Lapland Lodge is right next to Arvidsjaur Church, and within a few minutes’ walk are shops, bars and restaurants. Activities such as snowmobile safaris, fishing trips and dog sled rides can be booked on site.

Pros +
- Nice room, nice bath, nice staff, good breakfast, good location.
Cons -
- Room was on the ground floor and the bathroom window was next to a seating area by walkway, making it awkward to use. Staff made a mistake and assigned my room to some guy who opened the door at 10:30 p.m. while I was streaming / watching a football game.
