+ It is adequate and does the job well! It is at a great location if you need a place to stay while you are passing close Söderhamn. To stay here, you do not need to enter into the city. There are lots of parking slots. + The hotel looks a bit like a US style roadside motel from outside. It is of course understandable this may be the case if one does not want to go into the city. Nevertheless, before going into the hotel, I was not sure if I would have stayed here if I were traveling solo. After entering the building, it feels ok and safe. I would use this place even if I were driving solo.+ The room was as in the photos. Our room was looking into an area with trees and we did not hear any noise from the motorway. The water from shower was hot with good pressure. The curtains did a good job of blocking the sunlight. (The lack of proper curtains tend to be an issue in hotels in this price range in Sweden for some reason.)+ The breakfast was good. Compared to a higher star location we stayed in the same trip, it seemed to have almost exactly the same range with better cereal diary corner and less meat options here but with slightly worse presentation overall.+ Our room had a small hairdryer (which seem to be an issue in the other reviews). The room also had a kettle with some some tea bags and instant-coffee.

- There were a small "lack of fork" crisis during breakfast while staying there. No big issue but may be an indication of low number of staff or need of more cutlery during peak times.

Near natural olds forest , could take dog there for a walk and the small piece of forest beautiful

The staff were laid-back and respectful.The breakfast was surprisingly good, given the hotel´s condition.

The hotel is old and haven´t been renovated since its building year, which i guess were around 1985 - 1995?

We travelled for three weeks through Norway, Finland and Sweden and this was hands down the worst hotel we stayed at. It definitely isn’t a four star hotel - doubt it should even be a three star one. The building and rooms are old, outdated, not very clean and a bit smelly. We booked a double room and we were assigned to one upon arriving, however after just two minutes the reception lady knocked at our door telling us we had to downgrade to a twin room downstairs because we had a dog (we mentioned it during the reservation and the dog was with us during check-in?). The beds were uncomfortable and it was hard to let fresh air inside the room so we didn’t sleep well. The breakfast was just terrible and for the first time ever we did not eat anything - everything was dirty and except us and two other guest there were 5 people from the hotel staff picking up what best was left on to their plates, queuing to the toaster, waffle machine and juicer (one of the employees was also clearly sick and just casually stood there coughing on the bread while making her toast…). Definitely not worth the money and our nerves, sleeping in the car would have been a better option - we headed back on the road in the morning tired, hungry and disappointed.

Great location close to the motorway exit and within walking distance to Söderhamn's picturesque small-town charm. Good charging facilities for electric vehicles.

Proximity to major highway(E4).Very good buffe breakfast with many choices.

The service in the restaurant for dinner was slow.

Breakfast was excellent, a lot of choice and a good one. Location is great if you consider wider area, but if you look only Soderhamn it a little out of all the activities. But still 10 minutes walk is refreshing to go to city center.

Centre of the town. Always parking place available. Rooms are big. All you can eat breakfast. Staff always helpful.

For our trip this hotel location was spot on. Close to highway E4, but no noise from the highway. Very nice and helpful staff. Hotel and rooms are older but clean and it fulfilled our need to refresh to continue drive. Breakfast was really good and we departed fresh the next day.

It would be great if hotel has type2 chargers for electric vehicles (at least 7kW - 11kW each). There are engine warmer sockets, but that is not enough. There was a public charger at nearby petrol station but that is far and you need to leave your car and then walk... I would gladly pay extra for this.
