Hilton Garden Inn Iquique

Beautiful hotel, good location, breakfast, big, very confortable room.

The air conditioning was not working properly. This had already happened on a previous stay. On both occasions the hotel was full. On another occasion the hotel was empty and the air conditioning worked well. It may be a coincidence, but I believe the system may be undersized. Not acceptable for a hotel of this standard.

Excellent buffet breakfast, helpful staff, comfortable and spacious rooms. A swimming pool with a wonderful view.

Considering that all rooms have a sea view it was a bit disappointing to see that the windows weren't clean. This would have enhanced our stay.

Good spot, nice view, good place to stay not for long, great swimpool, very pleasent and helpful staff, confortable beds, nice bathroom.

Dirty room when we arrived. Next day they didn't clean our room as we were out for quiet long, really dirty under the beds, I had to ask for towels to be changed. High costs for breakfast and menu. Value doesn't worth the stay.

Room was excellent, had a separate lounge area which was nice. Also very quiet.I enjoyed the restaurant and bar. Staff ordered me an early taxi on day of departure, which worked out well thankyou.

We had some problems with the television throughout the stay and the pool contained too much chlorine.

Everything went well with this Hotel. The staff were mostly awesome with only one exception. There was this waitress at the restaurant who would not show me my bill and would try to charge me without me checking my bill, and she even added the tip every time without asking me if I was okay with it. She was the only problem I had with the place. The rest of the staff would show me my bill and ask me before adding the tip. The bad waitress was a really short person with long dark hair. Be careful with her.

I had to ask the waitress to let me check my bill because she would not give it to me. She would only type the amount into the transbank machine and hand it to me.

We asked for early check (12h-13h instead of 15h) in day before (via booking) and guarantee was not given, but they promsed "to do their besr". When we arrived we needed to pay 50 $ (!)

Courtesy water is only left on the first day, in other countries they leave it every day and not in Chile.

Really easy to get to. Very close to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. It’s got a very decent gym. The restaurant is a little limited on the menu but it’s fine anyway. Breakfasts are amazing.

Staff were very helpful and attentive, they really make the place. The garden area was nice.

I was charged the wrong amount for my two night stay, but this was rectified. It would have been good if more facilities were made available, but due to covid this was not possible. I felt the nightly rate was excessive, particularly, when certain facilities were not available. And the outer building windows were not clean.
