Hestia Hotel Haapsalu SPA

We like it very much. For the first time we were very satisfied and of course we’ll come back. We came here because of the spa. Spa is working till 00:00. From 22:00 kids are not allowed in the spa. For us it was a great possibility to have a rest and breath out. We also like a breakfast.

Our condition in the room did not work. Therefore air in the room was humid. To come to restaurant book a table earlier.

I wish there were flipflops for rent at the pool, and wish there was electric kettle in the room.

We had a Standard Double Room with a sea view and a comfortable double bed. Our room was spotless. Breakfast offered choices for different preferences. As a picky eater, I found enough food I could eat.We didn't visit the spa because we had caught a cold, so we spent the evening in the city and enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you!

Spa was nice.

Rooms a bit small but ok. AC able to bring down room temp for sleeping but slow. Basic heat was set too hot.

We had a family room, so it was big enough. The hotel is in a good location, quiet but not far from the center. The bathroom has a radiator that can be turned on even in summer, which is a plus for a hotel with a pool and spa. The spa area is large, with various pools, including ones suitable for children. Lots of saunas. A mud mask is available free of charge. Free parking.

I couldn't escape the feeling that they were trying to save money on everything, full of greenwashing tricks - no bathroom accessories, no slippers available, not even normal trash cans in the rooms, instead a recycling bin in the hallway. Terrible. The family room had a separate toilet, which was quite inconvenient, but maybe some people would see that as a plus. Breakfast was pretty mediocre, and there was a feeling that they were trying to save money there too. Overall, the hotel feels worn out.

The room was very small. There was only one chair. The table was very small and things simply had to be placed on the floor. The cabinet doors did not open.The price clearly exceeded the comfort provided.

Blackout curtains did not fully cover the windows so in the morning lots of bright light came through

First look was pretty sad, external facade was dirty, building looked a little old and shabby, but interior was clean and nice. SPA section was also nice clean and comfy.

Paid extra to get room on higher floor, ended up on 2nd floor. I get it that it´s higher than 1th floor but I don't know if it qualifies as a higher floor room. Room had only one trashcan, at the toilet. First hotel where I didn´t have trashcan next to minifridge. Hair dryer at the room was not doing its job at all, the air flow was way too weak.

The included water spa was awesome. Large pool,4 hot tubs from 106 to 60 degrees. The buffet breakfast was good but very crowded.

The rooms are very basic. Simple furniture and spartan bath.

Clean spa, beautiful city, cool people and delicious food ?

Nothing, maybe only one thing, SPA is located close to the road and when I was sleeping (road was in front of my windows) it was a night, there were many guys on bikes and they were really noisy, but it's ok

we loved it so much, we returned for a second night. A really nice hotel with spa facilities, which does get crowded, and excellent and varied breakfast, both included in the price .Both rooms we stayed at were super to clean and nice, and out favorite feature was the heated bathroom floor. Both rooms had beautiful view of the lake. Good for walking around. Absolutely recommended!

The location next to the lake. View from room of the lake. Windows that open. Good selection of food for breakfast. Comfortable area by the bar to relax in the evening. Cotton sheets. Good shower.

Much to my surprise, although the room was Scandinavian in style, very clean and aesthetically pleasing there were no hooks, no shelves ,no wardrobe, no desk, no cupboard or indeed anywhere to put clothes/bags/ stuff generally other than the floor! There were two hooks in the bathroom for towels but that was all. Interestingly there was a one metre long metal shoe horn leaning against the wall in the corner of an alcove where one might have expected to find a shelf or two or maybe a folding suitcase stand. There were two upright chairs which was a blessing for putting clothes on!

Hard to get answers from receptionists, and no smiles to be seen.

The SPA and breakfast were excellent. The saunas and the view from the saunas were especially good. The SPA bar was plentiful.

Everything was perfect. Loved the spa and our room was excellent.

There was no bottle water in the room that I find standard in hotels. Not everyone is willing to drink tap water when paying over 120€ for a room. It took time for the water to heat up for the bath. I guess the main part was hotel lobby who was aware of my pre-ordered check out but did not warn us about the access after 12. After spa we couldnt get in our room and has to wait in the lobby line for 16min in our robes to get new keycard. This could of been avoided by the service at the check in.
