Cons -
- Nothing everything was amazing!
- The staff were not friendly and in fact hardly saw them. The breakfast team were pleasant.
- BEWARE: pictures on site are not representative of inn. Dirty, dingy, and very under kept. DO NOT STAY during colder months. Rooms are extremely drafty, headboards against drafty windows, and zero heat control! Radiator was on for almost 2 hrs and no heat. Staff and especially the Owners did not care and not accommodating with concerns!

The position of the property was perfect. So convenient for everything in Bourton. Beautiful old, character property.

Beautiful decor and lovely building in a perfect location
Very cosy hotel, great location and breakfast was brilliant!
Would’ve like to have a bath in the room and a bit more space. We were in the loft and being 6 foot 4 the tilted ceiling was a bit close.
Where it was positioned. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The stairs steep not suitable for anyone not steady on their feet
Wonderful old style property with a very well maintained and decorated room, breakfast menu was excellent, comfortable and warm room.
It seems minor but I waited for about five minutes to be booked in even though I had been seen by staff, I was not acknowledged and this was also the same for checking out, staff were not rude but perhaps need extra training.
We hadn’t visited the inn for many years until 2023, but are delighted at the renovations carried out. Many of the old features we remembered are still here and valued.
Struggle to park sometimes, but it is a very busy village so expected.
This is a quintessential b&b in a beautiful English town. Wonderful food and comfortable rooms. A really wonderful and unique place to stay.
The shower was just a bit tight but that’s understandable knowing the age of the building.
breakfast itself was excellent, and the meals in the restaurant excellent
a bit regimented regarding breakfast time, we were allowed there at a specific time, you just couldn't turn up between the serving hours you had an allocated time for arrival. When on holiday it would be nice just to go down when ready not looking at the clock
Amazing breakfast, gorgeous old building and real care and attention over the rooms. Helpful staff. Bathroom products top quality. Over and above expectations in a beautiful village. Pub very cosy too. Highly recommended
Breakfast was very good, although used cereal bowls and plates weren’t removed from table whilst we were sat there, which wasn’t a great ambiance. Location was perfect and room itself was very clean, but needed a little more TLC in some areas (water bottle and plastic glasses were dirty). It was also cold, probably exacerbated by the fact that all of the windows were open and radiator switched off on arrival, OK in summer, but not November. However, it is a lovely place and we would return.
Glasses and water bottle were very dirty and the breakfast waiting service was very dependent on who was working.
Standard of internal byilding conversion is high.Room was very clean.Breakfast waitress was polite and efficient.
1. Car parking fee £72. Time slots for breakfast3. Cramped headroom owing to room being on the 2nd floor I.e. in the roof space
Nice room. Great location.
Car park is open to public and is pay and display. Had to pay and competition for spaces.
Great location, old world charm, clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast which good service
Breakfast was wonderful. There was continental on display plus a full English available which was delicious. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food was exceptional especially the lamb shank. A little on the expensive side but probably par for the course for a hotel of this standard. Rooms were really cosy and lovely comfortable bed a lot of character and really clean. Even had fresh milk in the fridge for your tea/coffee. Would definitely return and highly recommend this wonderful establishment.
Parking was not available at this hotel but we were able to park in the model village car part directly next door. only downside was that the car park was full so you may have to hang around waiting for someone to leave to grab your space as it was only a small car park. This would not put me off staying at the Inn though. Not a problem in the grand scheme of things.
Fab location and high quality of room
Bar closed at 9pm on a Sunday and no corkscrew and bottle opener in bedroom
We love this place and second time here, easy check in, room perfect with everything you need, lovely bar and attentive service
