The Crown Pub, Dining & Rooms

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was good, room was quaint and very clean.

The beginning of breakfast is late (8 am), but they did accommodate by providing a continental breakfast takeout box the night before...but would have preferred a hot breakfast instead.

The location was idea for us, the pub was awesome the food was really tasty, we would have had a dessert too but we were too full from starter and mains. The butter of the day was a new one on us but it was splendid and went down well. From the moment we entered the pub one staff member was outstanding 'Noam' he should be commended for his service and attitude, I did ask another staff member to thank him. The room was well laid out and spacious with great amenities and a well thought out wet room/toilet/shower. Well done for all staff members that we spoke to as well everyone was engaging and genuinely great.

Could not complain about anything.

Breakfast was very good you had the pick of the menu. Staff were very helpful, attentive and polite you could not have asked for more. Price of the room was very reasonable.

Friendly and efficient staff especially Alex. Well equipped room which was Spotlessly clean. Nice atmosphere in restaurant/ bar. Great cooked breakfast. Would recommend and will visit again.

Everything was great.

Superb, large, comfortable room. Really well equipped either hairdryer and straighteners, nespresso coffee machine and fresh milk in room fridge, Rituals toiletries in lovely en-suite shower room. Amazing breakfast!!

Nothing at all!!

The room was thoughtfully furnished and equipped with nice touches including an umbrella for rainy dashes into the pub and decaf coffee in recyclable pods. It was spotlessly clean with good quality bedding.

The wet room was a good idea and looked very good but the reality was wet feet into the bedroom and the second person to use the shower was going into a very wet wet room.

The rooms were extremely well decorated and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the water in the bathroom was hot. There was a lot of storage space including hanging space. The heating was very warm and efficient. Everything was extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious and all fresh.

The fresh milk was a bonus but there could have been a bit more and some biscuits.

Loose toilet seat

We ordered breakfast at 08.50 and told them we were oink a tight schedule, when it got to 09.25 we had to leave as we were attending a funeral . the young lady was really good and organised our breakfast in a doggie bag but unfortunately we dignity have time to eat it so had to throw it away. This was our only complaint as the rest of the stay was very good with lovely staff.

Only one slight downside & I know it couldn’t be helped was some noise from the beer garden but didn’t effect so much that wouldn’t stay again

Beautiful, clean room with very a very comfortable bed with crisp clean sheets

There was a rather dirty old chair which slightly put me off but that was a minor observation

Lovely spacious room and a comfy bed. The restaurant was very good and the food was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Lovely room, very comfortable, bed was great - accommodation was positioned at the back of The Crown Pub, a really nice pub with fantastic staff and some of the best food you can imagine. We felt very well looked after.

Nothing in particular, but the car park was a bit tricky - spaces were narrow and the car park was full when we arrived. We had to hover for a few minutes before a space became available that we could squeeze into. The hassle of parking was soon forgotten by the warm welcome we received.

Comfy bed, hot shower and decent tea and coffee machine.Having fresh milk and water available in a little fridge a bonus. Great breakfast.

As has been mentioned before the rug under the bed is a bit tired and the radiator in the bathroom is looking sad but otherwise room offered all that we needed for an overnight stay.

Very cosy county small houses,well decorated,warm with nice bathroom.

There was nothing I disliked

Always enjoy our time at The Crown. Love the accommodation and the staff are brilliant.Our 3rd visit as it is perfectly placed for visiting family.

Bathroom as it was a sort of wet room. But it would be okay if you have access difficulties.
