very comfortable room with great shower. dinner and breakfast , the food was very good and reasonably priced bar had a good selection of beer. will be back for certain.
the Wi-fi was not strong but apart from that excellent.
The Inn is next to the river, the rooms are very stylishly decorated, the staff are brilliant and the food is well above your average pub grub.
Our room was lovely, plenty room and comfortable. We had dinner, which was lovely and breakfast the next morning, which was outstanding.
Beautiful restaurant and rooms. Fabulous outlook over the river and countryside. Amazing dinner and breakfast. EV charging on site very useful!

Bar closed at 10:30 on a Thursday. Surprised at this given I was a resident
Great location, convenient for me, established
Bit creaky and could hear other guests at times, but accept is a very old building and this is a minor point
Room was clean and bright . Bathroom was spotless with a great hot shower. Bed was comfortable. Temperature was nice . Food in the restaurant was blooming lovely. Evening meal x2 days, breakfast X1 day . Would recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful also
The rooms were very clean, comfortable, well presented and had a great selection of teas and coffee in the rooms. The staff were all very friendly, polite and professional. The breakfast selection was great and tasty too.
The bathroom in the upstairs Boat House accommodation ceiling was slightly low, but didn't effect the overall stay.
The rooms are very cozy and we enjoyed the selection of coffee and teas and the biscuits upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm and pleasant to spend time in. We stayed in the boat house behind the main house, which was a pretty building. Their restaurant for dinner was also good, they had a good selection of the classic pub food and also some more exotic dishes and vegetarian options. The location is fantastic, it is in short walking distance to walking trails and a park and the town itself is very beautiful.
We stayed in the boat house on the ground floor and on top of us was a family with a dog which kept walking back and forth at night which woke us up a few times. Could make sense to give dog owners a room on the ground floor as the walls seem quite thin.Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, to us at least. They had a decent selection of the classic Scottish breakfast options but we we’re missing some fresh options. We ordered the porridge which was well prepared but lacked flavour and the yoghurt with granola, which was a lot more granola than yoghurt. The coffee was very good. The staff in the restaurant was always friendly however seemed a bit unorganised at times, but we appreciate that a lot of the staff were quite young and were likely getting trained.
Really nice staff and lovely food good value for money
Great location, good menu
It’s an old property and a bit creaky at times from pipes
The level of cleanliness The reception by the staffThe pillowsThe location
People were SO noisy. I know it's a Friday night but there was zero respect for others sleeping and I got woken up twice between 11pm and midnight.Breakfast shouldn't restrict you to one option- at least toast, cereal and fruit should be available to help yourself. So I book a room with double bed a d it's two singles pushed together? Not impressed at the big crack down the middle.
Clean room, nice staff, great breakfast.
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, which made for a very warm welcome.Breakfast in front of a lovely log fire was excellent.Very comfortable bed .Great location by the river.
It felt really homely. Rooms were clean and tidy and well presented. Food was delicious. Breakfast first class
