Pros +
- Everything....the room was lovely and so comfortable...staff very friendly and helpful.
- Absolutely stunning old mill been renovated was beautiful and inn keeping with the old style
- Good location and comfy bed
Cons -
- Woke up early with numerous deliveries and the paint work could do with some touch ups
- I was satisfied with all the facilities
- The Parking was not good. On site parking is 3hrs FREE (Hence everyman and his dog uses it to go shopping )and £10 for 24 hours. Trouble is if you are a guest of the hotel there is no designated Hotel parking only. Advised to park on a side street, which we eventually found, but arriving on Sat (Market Town) afternoon, lets just say it was challenging.

Good location and comfy bed

Room was nicely decorated, lovely bathroom and a really comfy bed. Parking was not good inadequate space on the car park for the hotel. However, after a bit of searching I was able to find somewhere to park a short distance away. Breakfast was very good and in a lovely setting.
I was satisfied with all the facilities
There was a wedding on while we stayed. So we knew to expect some late night noise, its not the hotels fault, boisterous noisy guests. And the screaming in the corridors to each other was not appreciated, but that's the guests, not the hotels fault. Room was quiet, a bolster supplied to block the light under the door,gr8 idea. The standard of the finish in the room and bathroom was top notch. Great shower, very clean. Bathroom doors need a bottom protector to stop water damage from walk in shower. All the staff we spoke with were very very friendly and polite .Breakfast was one of the best i have ever had, tasty with local produce. 11 out of 10.Comfy bed....but it would benefit from being a larger bed. I 'think' its a king size and that a 'queen 'size is larger...if that's correct we would have prefeed a queen size. just cos I'm a bloke.....a big bloke, wide ;-).We would still come again, absolutely loved it and would ask if there is a room that would have that longed for larger bed. Very close to town centre and on site bar, restaurant, food hall, everyman theatre. Will prob go back with friends for a weekend.

Good location
There was a Christmas party at the hotel and even though I was on the 2nd floor it was very loud. I didn’t get informed until I was at the check in desk.
The room was spacious and the hotel had a modern, trendy feel. It is located in a lovely little town with nice shops nearby.
There is no closet but a rack with hangers that barely move so it’s difficult to hang your clothes. There was a function in the Bistro and the music and chatter was very loud, resonating through much of the hotel.
Didn’t need breakfast.location fine family live just ten minutes away
The first night got a drink in the bistro and only me in but that was fine, the second night reception told me it was open.three staff sat there and told me it wasn’t so went to room instead as didn’t want to go for drink next door,
Location, bathrooms, beds , cleanliness
On this occasion there was a function in the bistro below the hotel rooms .. the volume of the music was unbearable .. floors and furniture vibrating .. ended at midnight but we’d had to listen to it for 3 hours ! Customers need to be made aware of functions booked in this room on specific nights .
Stunning decoration and location , amazing converted mill, great bars and restaurants adjacent
Good hotel for the price paid. Rooms are pretty standard, nothing special but comfortable and clean so can't complain - great base for exploring the other facilities on site and the town. Quick check in/out procedure and friendly, helpful staff.
Personally would have liked a coffee machine in the room. Would be good if breakfast was included in the stay.
friendly staff, comfortable bed, good heating (very cold outside, lovely and warm room and bathroom), biscuits with the in room tea/coffee/hot choc.
The location was great, toiletries were a nice touch, good variety of tea and coffee. Shower was really good large head and powerful. All staff including the cleaning team were polite and friendly.
No heating in the room the radiator didn't work, pillow's were really thin not enough hanging space for winter clothes and the grout in the shower needs attentionWould be good if the breakfast restaurant stayed open later than 9.30am even until 10am would be good although we were only a minute from the food hall it would have been nice just to nip downstairs
Nice rooms and location, would stay again
No heating in room, we were moved to a different room, which was noisey.
Great location as we were attending a wedding onsite.
Car parking!
Large comfy room. Big, clean, beautiful shower room. Shower was powerful and hot. Good selection of drinks. Able to open window for some fresh air but the temperature was pretty good for me (not too hot). Check in was smooth, welcoming and helpful. Pretty quiet (especially given the location) but I stayed in the week for work so I'm not sure how quiet it would be on a weekend. Found the parking very straightforward even though they obviously have issues with it.
Decor was weird - the wallpaper is literally the worst I have ever seen and its everywhere! However this is obviously personal taste! The sidelights were very dim indeed so the lighting option was full ceiling lights or nearly dark - could do with an in-between stage. Could hear other guests walking around/talking but this didn't go on late or disrupt me too much. It is an old building after all.
Full English was excellent
Extra charge for orange juice and it wasn’t cheap. Never been charged extra before and thought if going for full breakfast should have been included. Also asked for hot milk for coffee but advised not possible. Wouldn’t have too difficult to warm in microwave
Good location and quick check in
Room was very warm and could not turn off bathroom radiator
Spacious rooms, beautiful building, great restaurants on site
The room was very stylish and a very good size. It was perfect for our needs. Set in the centre of clitheroe made it easy to get to everything. They also allow early check in and check out which really helped for what we needed it for.
I think I was expecting more for breakfast. We paid £10 each for a fry up and I know we could have got better in the area. It was not clear if the £10 also gave you the opportunity for the cereal, yoghurt and fruit out which would have made it worth it. If it is included in the cost it should be made more obvious.
