Lack of window in room - it had a skylight without a blind so couldn't alter light coming in. Couldn't open to allow fresh air in the room.

Felt the photos of the place were very misrepresented as the property looks vast and ornate but this isn’t where you stay - you can’t fully see the converted mill the accommodation is in - the photo shows the 16th century boarding school next door!

The PVC bathroom pods (think modern Travelodge) while functional and very clean are a bit cramped for getting dry, wouldn't like to try and get dressed in one if sharing.

Beautiful location. Ideal if attending a wedding at one of the nearby venues. Very tasty continental breakfast in the lovely dining room. No problem getting taxis.

Didn't realise when booking but it is a very religious place. No double beds and lots of religious things on the walls etc. Doesn't affect the stay but should have been made clearer

The distance from the the main areas. if you are after a party style break this location is not for you.As this is a Religious residence area.

Location was amazing you arrive down a long drive , like something out of Downton abbey , barn has been renovated to a high standard , it did feel more like a conference hall rather than a hotel , but still great

The breakfast was just continental, but when you entered the dining room you are asked how you would like your eggs , so I was looking forward to a full English… but no it was just scrambled eggs

Only continental available and boiled or scrambled eggs. Not what I was expecting as the reviews were saying that the breakfast was fabulous, although the staff were very accommodating

There was no restaurant or bar on site. Separate beds and no T.V in the rooms. The bathroom was a pre fabricated pod design which had poor drainage which meant that the whole bathroom flooded after the second shower.
