Pros +
- Clean Facilities, Friendly Staff
- Great staff; 5 minutes from Wood Green Metro: Japanese restaurant on the 1st floor, so I always felt safe.
- The rooms are big enough and so is the washroom. It is very close to underground. There are many restaurants near by.
Cons -
- There was a very loud event the night I stayed that did go on til about 1:30am. Slightly impacted sleep and enjoyment of the accommodation
- Room was small & crummy; very dated; no fridge or microwave; had to walk down a long hallway & stairs to use the bathroom.; bathroom was coed, like some dorms.
- NA we were happy with it all.

It is located near to the tube station and local shops and pubs and has it's own restaurant. The bus for Alexandra Palace events stops right outside. Staff were helpful and friendly. Private nathroom, wifi, heating, tea and coffee making facilities all included.
NA we were happy with it all.
The location for me was great. It isn't in central London, but it is on the Piccadilly line, which goes to Heathrow and has main stops on it, and the hotel is right across from the subway station - so very easy to get to and from the hotel and all around London. Also, the neighborhood is vibrant and interesting. The hotel is a converted old industrial building, which is interesting but also has some problems (see "didn't like" details). The single room was very adequate - decent bed; the chair could have been of better quality; I had to ask how to turn on the radiator, as it was cold (remember, it's England!). The lobby space is artsy and comfortable, as is the attached restaurant which also has good food and nice staff. It was not expensive - and so overall, it was a good deal. The experience is not for everyone - more for folks looking for a deal and willing to have an adventure.
It is a converted old industrial building, which is interesting. However, the hallways and share bathrooms have large, single paned windows and most were still open when I was there - thus, it was very drafty and cold while in the bathroom or walking around outside the room. I had to ask to have the windows in a bathroom closed. Also, the shared bathrooms are not very clean or well kept up (lots of patch jobs of floor tile and wall - that are not well done). There was no bench or a row of hooks in the bathroom to put things - which would be helpful. Also, the elevator wasn't working well - it didn't respond when some of the floor buttons were pushed. The chair in my room was a very flimsy folding chair - not comfortable to sit in - they would do better to find some more comfortable arm chairs.
Well located and very good price.
Shared bathroom, but I'm happy to take that trade off for the price.
Great location near tube. Fantastic price for London.
We’ve been going here for years and little updating/maintenance seems to have been done. Personnel are , for the most part, less friendly and willing to engage the traveler. On site restaurant is good, but the option for breakfast has disappeared.
Location extremely close to tube station, supermarket, mini market, restaurant and takeaways
Absolutely bare bones furniture. No chair or table in room. No ventilation other than windows facing a very busy very noisy road. Showers and toilets needed maintenance
This is a vibey yet simple hotel. There are lots of nice little artistic touches and the staff is very accommodating. Each room has it's own vibe and quirks which I personally really enjoyed. It sits in a sweet spot of affordability and style
Bed sheet is clean and towel is also clean .
First of All there is smell in hotel lobby and in room also . 2nd bed size is very small .3rd staff is good but hotel owner is bull shit . Windows is not closed i mean locker is not working . So early morning police siren is disturb our sleep .
Location, staff, price.
4' Bed too small for two people to share, no Aircon, no private bathroom, no kettle, one towel for two people, people being noisy in the early hours and smashing the doors constantly.
Had a great time staying, staff lovely and accommodating when my son and I arrived early and let us into our room, after a long travel day. Private room was exceptionally clean, and quiet overnight. 10/10 will be back to stay
Good location poor cleanliness, there was hair in the sink, hand wash bottle
I loved that the Tube station was right across the street, awesome food/drink at the restaurant within the hotel, lots of great cafes/shops in the immediate area, and overall felt very safe with 24 hour staff + everything being locked up in the later evening hours
It did get a bit annoying to hear a big residual noise every time I would take a shower and I would have loved if the lift worked properly.
The place is in an excellent location, and probably you won't anything better than this for the money. Metro and restaurants are at 5-minute walk, rooms are big and most appliances are there.
I missed a fan or something like that in the room. There were Salsa classes until 22:30 (not sure if this is a recurrent thing or a one off)
I liked the location, it was near underground, which was comfortable.
Facilities were extremely old and out of order. Not proper bathroom with uncomfortable shower
Loved our stay at Green Rooms. Location was great. Right beside a tube stop and loads of bus options. Room was clean with a decent amount of space.
The only tiny negative was that (in our room at least) there was a crazy loud noise when the toilet was flushed. Not great at 2am.
The location is great. Right opposite Wood Green Underground. The staff were friendly and it was clean. The food in the Japanese restaurant was amazing.
The double bed was small and the room was too but it is a great location if you are going to a concert and just want to get your head down for the night. The decoration in the shared bathrooms didn’t look finished but they were clean.
I'm a Green Rooms fan! I paid a little extra for the ensuite bathroom, and it really was fabulous!
Drainage from the sink and shower was slow, but honestly, for the price and everything else, hardly a deal breaker
i loved the rustic vibe of the property and how clean it was. perfect location of you are going to an event at alexandra palace as it’s only about a 15/20 minute walk. good value for money considering the hotel is in london, would definitely stay again!
