A decent enough place for a relatively low price. It's well-located for Muswell Hill. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the heating was on. It's not a luxury offering, but you get what you pay for, and this is the reality of the UK's economic situation in 2026! If you have beef with it, take it up with our politicians and economists, not the people running this hotel ;)
Most of all, the mattresses need replacing because they were a bit misshapen and uncomfortable to sleep on. But for one night only we didn't think this wasn't a big deal.
Great location in a quiet road off the bustle of Muswell Hill shops, bars and restaurants. 24-hour helpful reception. Small but adequate single room. Decent bathroom en suite. Very handy for events at nearby Alexandra Palace. Good bus links to Underground and Overground trains.
No breakfast, but not really an issue as there are options close by. Some noise from corridor and neighbouring rooms, but not too disturbing. A bit tired looking and dated.
Good location
Very tired rooms mattress very uncomfy
Location and facilities, especially parking.
Room was cold on arrival, needed to turn up radiator, and ask for additional blank / duvet which was provided quite quickly.
Good location and good price for where we were going
Shower was unusable a trickle of water !
Perfect location for Alexandra palace and plenty of places close by to eat and drink
Could hear loud outside traffic through windows at night when trying to sleep, but didn’t cause an issue as have ear plugs
Very nice room as requested on the ground floor amenities very good lots of restaurants and shops
Very clean, staff were friendly, great location for the Alexandra Palace, would stay again
A bit dated, no breakfast facilities, but it wasn't much of an issue, lots of cafes/restaurants nearby.
Its location walking distance from Alexandra palace was perfect for our visit to the snooker masters.
A little run down and basic with few facilities. Signs of damp in the bathroom and low water pressure. It’s ok for an overnight in an area not known for decent hotels.
Convenient, good room, very warm, comfortable beds
The location was good.
It was an expensive property for one night with the rooms being small and in need of updating.
The location but that was specific to me.
Thought the room was a bit on the small size and so it was difficult to open my suitcase.Did not like the fact some drunk idiot tried to get into my room at 5.30am. If they were not a resident how did they get in?
Not a lot
The rooms were horrendous. Holes in the duvet cover, a sink wedged into the room (not the bathroom), just enough room to turn around in there, no heating as the radiator was behind the headboard, no breakfast, 20 minutes from Alexandra palace so don’t know how they’ve managed to get away with having that in the name
Ahmed sorted a few changes I required just before heading to the hotel! Sorting this out within minutes of emailing the hotel
Ideally located for an event at Ally Pally. A huge plus was the parking (free) onsite. Perfect area and within a very short walk to Alexandra Palace. Last but not least the staff and hotel were very accommodating especially a big shout out to Ahmed!! Perfect on every level!!
The location of the property was close to Alexandra palace. Walking distance.
The room was small and cramped. We had to duck just to get in and out of bed, the bedside table was touching the bed, the bedside table was also blocking a wardrobe door, which didn’t shut properly. The lighting was poor, the windows didn’t open.
Location was perfect, Parking was good. Reception area was clean
not being buggy friendly, Very creaky single bed could hear others during the night Very cold in some areas.Damp areas in bathroom Water didn't stay in bath ( I'm guessing the plug didn't fit properly) had to refill. Draft coming from window.
I always wondered what this hotel would be like on the inside having lived in the area. The room I got was clean and fair value, but it was very small, with just enough room for the bed at the far end of the room. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably (but not particularly) warm (it was a cold winter's night). I did however sleep well, and connected to the wifi Ok as I remember
I had a basic single room, and there was nothing very exciting about it. For something better it appears you have to spend about £35 more, so I guess it is what it is. The hotel is fine. The room is ok, but nothing really stood out
