Location

Cleanliness: thick dirt on skirting boards. Not possible to shower as the fire alarm comes on even if you put the extractor fan on. No room to pass by the bed. In general: it's a rundown place, a joke to call it "hotel".

Beautiful view, comfortable and very convenient location to Lidl grocery store.

There was not anything that we didn’t like.

The location is great for walking with lovely views and also close to shops, restaurants and supermarkets.It's incredibly good value for money....the room and bathroom were extremely clean.

There were no negatives.

Comfortable bed, cheap and does the job.

Stayed in 2 rooms in 4 days, both rooms the shower was hot for no more than a minute before going cold. When I brought it to the staff attention they came switched on the shower held their hand under for about 30 seconds then said there’s nothing wrong with it. Explained it’s a shared water tank so other rooms had probably used the water when I tried. I tried many times in that 4 days, even when getting up for work at 3am and every time it was cold after a minute.

Bedding felt a bit damp

John, the caretaker, was so helpful and patient with us. He was always available if we had a question or an issue and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. We had a beautiful view of the Clyde from our room for the first four days of our stay. We came back and stayed an additional three days. We had a different room and that room was a little larger which we also liked.

As long as you understand the rooms and the bathroooms are small, you will be fine. The Waterfront is a great value for the price!

John, the property manager was amazing . He was friendly, helpful, and helped to make our stay enjoyable . The view is the Clyde and the warm breeze blowing through our window was amazing .There is a shared sitting/kitchen area with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and ironing board . Very convenient .

The rooms are very small but we knew this going in and were prepared . It is a great value for the money .

The staff were some of the friendliest people I've met in the UK this trip. They found my wife's stuffed elephant after we left and contacted us to make sure we got it. Thanks you guys!

So friendly and honest staff went out if their way to help us. Would definitely go again and so will alot of people I have told. Excellent sceneries.

Convenient for a low price overnight stay. Staff extremely helpful.

I paid £44 for my one night stay. Although I know £44 is a budget price, I do think it is quite dear for the room supplied. TV signal via the indoor portable aerial was lousy.

Everything I needed while staying on mainland to attend someone in hospital. Clean, comfortable, cooking facilities, ample parking, shops nearby, staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely spot right on the riverbank too.

Only the fixed overhead shower is a bit of a pain. I prefer a flexible hose spray head, but only a small inconvenience.

The customer service is truly excellent. Special mention for the fantastic John, who always strives to make guests welcome and comfortable.The location on the banks of the River Clyde presents some rooms with magnificent views, the town centre of Greenock is 5 mins walk away as are the local bars, restaurants and theatre including the local Wetherspoons pub which is the best place for breakfast.The railway station Greenock Central is 7 mins walk away with trains connecting to Glasgow and Gourock with its ferry connections.The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and offer value for money.

The timed heaters led to cold rooms

Amazing views from the bedroom and had a really comfortable bed.

Shower ran hot for 1 min then went cold. When smokers stood by the front door, you could smell it in the bedroom. Other guests were noisy during the night banging doors.

The peacefulness of the area, right by the estuary, watching the boats go by from our room.

Nothing really

The convenience, so close to everything, great value for money , great location, wonderful view , staff were exceptional, if your on a budget lidl and tesco round the corner , morrisons a five minute walk, and there is a lovely clean kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat a meal , 10 out of 10 , its not 5 star so don't expect that, but a great wee place if your not too fussy

Basic accomodation.Clean, reasonably comfortable with decent facilities nearby if required. Caretaker was very friendly and very helpful.

Clean room, great location, sea view. Easy to get to the Beacon Centre and walking along the seafront. It is basic accommodation but all that I needed. Good security in the building. Lots of free parking.

A bit confusing about checking in but staff were helpful and friendly. The name of the place wasn't exactly the same as the Booking listing so I was confused about where to go to check in.

It's super basic and looks like student accommodation - however, based on the cost, I felt it was really great for money. The man who gave me the key and showed me around was super friendly and helpful.Shower had good hot water and water pressure.For what it is, I would rate it well.

Beds were really soft (although I did sleep well). Bathroom tiny and the shower curtain stuck to me.
