About

Foxhills Club & Resort Club & Resort is set within 400 acres of stunning Surrey countryside with Olympic-standard leisure facilities, elegant accommodations and three unique dining options, as well as a stately Manor House, built in the 19th century, at the heart of the estate. The family-friendly resort features plenty of activities for children, as well as facilities for groups of golfers, couples, corporate guests and those looking for an active getaway. The golf club is home to two of the UK’s most highly-regarded Championship golf courses – Bernard Hunt and Longcross – as well as a par-three nine-hole Manor Course and extensive practice facilities, including a short game area and covered driving range. The main restaurant Lomri offers refined anglo-indian dishes in a relaxing and comfortable setting. ‘Nineteen’ offers a brasserie-style menu, while Flo’s ‘grab and go’ deli serves delicious dishes with an East Mediterranean flavor. Other highlights include the resort’s modern Pavilion, which is home to two of Foxhills Club & Resort’ four swimming pools (two indoor and two outdoor), as well as spin studio, games room, soft play area, creche, and two fitness studios. There is also an award-winning luxury HealthSpa offering relaxing treatments and therapies, a gym, further fitness studios, a Yoga Cabin, 11 multi-surface tennis courts, as well as conference and meeting facilities. With more than 200 activities a week on its timetable, there’s plenty for hotel guests to enjoy. Each of the resort’s range of 70 bedrooms and suites come with free WiFi, a digital TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Conveniently located just minutes from the M25 and M3, and close to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, the resort is also easily accessible.

    I loved our room.

I understand the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment, however I am very disappointed with the level of service during our stay, especially considering the amount we paid.Room service was consistently poor. I had to call multiple times to request basic items such as cutlery, milk, and room servicing, and these requests were repeatedly forgotten by reception.Breakfast this morning was particularly disappointing. I was informed that a booking was required, which I made for 10:00am. Upon arrival, we were told to take a seat, but no one attended to us. I eventually had to find a staff member as it appeared we had been forgotten. When our full English breakfast arrived, it was cold, and our tea was also forgotten. By the time the tea arrived, we had already finished eating.Overall, I feel very let down and blindsided by the experience. We spent a significant amount of money expecting a certain standard of service, but unfortunately, the stay has felt very disorganised and disappointing.I would appreciate it if you could review this matter and advise how you plan to address these issues.

I loved the room, and the staff we're all incredible! I can't judge much else because most of it was closed, but the spa could do with some love and redecorating/modernising.

The spa facilities felt like a typical gym or leisure Centre pool and spa, the outside was slightly better and it is very nice that they put products out to use and tea, but they should really invest in some cold plunge baths which wouldn't be costly instead of just having the natural pool which is very natural in that it feels more like a pond.

    Absolutely nothing

The room and bathroom were not clean, the shower was blocked, the radiators weren't working we were freezing cold all night. We left after the first night.

Lovely courtyard room and the spa was nice.

The bath was very confusing. It needed instructions which we had to google and there was no shower gel or shampoo next to the bath and the ones in the shower were not moveable. The shower drain was blocked and filled with water and it took ages to stop running once switched off. There were no decaf teas or coffees. The restaurant was shut for renovation so we had to use the clubhouse which was a bit too pub-like for our tastes.

Property was lovely and location and staff nice and friendly.

we had room service for one of the nights we stayed there and the food was awful, chicken goujons especially, nothing like described and they tasted like fish rather than chicken. Still had to pay for it too

Lots to do and room was fantastic. Wonderful staff.

We weren’t informed until after booking the property (on Booking.com) that lots of the restaurants and lounges were undergoing refurbishment and unusable. The spa was good but needs an update. Breakfast (scrambled eggs and salmon) was terrible, unsure if they were real eggs.

    Big room and comfy bed

The customer experience wasn’t particular exceptional for the price. Didn’t feel particularly valued and staff in the spa just kind of ignored me when I walked in to use the spa

Spa facilities are excellent and location to the office.

Room was too hot, shame as the room was lovely.Shower door didnt open fully due to shower head being to low.. Had to squeeze through a gap. A large person wouldnt have fitted..Food was ok in the club house due to main house being closed.

Everything bar the bed the facilities food staff were first class other than being misled by one of the phone operators who took the booking.

I spoke to one of the Hotel staff on the day of booking and asked if there Beds were two singles push together or one big king size bed the lady said it’s one big bed so I continued with the booking only upon my arrival after a four hour drive to find out it’s two singles pushed together it was rather annoying due to me and my partner always sleeping in the middle of the bed and inevitably feeling the gap.

Location greatBreakfast good Great use of pools and spa-timings work well for us.Lovey and clean rooms

Mattress for us was a little soft but that’s a personal choice.Saturdays breakfast service was a little rushed and abrupt-not by all staff

Very stylish with great facilities and excellent friendly, helpful staff. Our rooms were very high quality - spacious with comfortable super-king beds.

Only 'draw back' was that some of the main hotel was about to be renovated the day if our departure. There with signs of preparation going on the day before. However we had been informed about this at the time of our booking. The staff went out of their way to minimise any disruption - so we did not feel this affected our stay.

    Location, beautiful grounds. Helpful staff

Large room with plenty of space to relax. Lovely bathroom, with large bath and separate shower. Spa facilities are very good and we particularly liked the fact that the main pool, sauna and steam room were all adult only, as there is a separate family facility.

Not too much to dislike, although, for the price, we weren't overwhelmed with our meal in the Fox restaurant, with a fairly limited menu. This is about to have a major overhaul/refurb so I'm sure this will enhance things. Overall though we had a thoroughly relaxing time and will book again in the future.
