Everything it’s a beautiful place so cozy and friendly

The staff are just above and beyond everyone I met couldn’t have been more welcoming I was there for work as I needed a hotel I can stay I had never been to the area and it was just exactly what I needed ! Happy to recommend colleagues who may be working in the area, and I am lucky to have found this gem - !!! 5 stars all the way !

Location was great, as was the room, breakfast and hotelier's we met

The bathroom floor was like a freezer :)

High specification rooms that were clean and recently refurbished. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Excellent evening meal and breakfast.

Lovely property a bit of a strange area but relatively easy to get around by car A short walk to the town with some coffee shops which was nice Dinner was great service First gin was served beautifully but the second was in a short stubby not clean glass which was a shame Breakfast was beautiful a private experience an nothing was too much trouble

The rooms were really cold Windows drafty glass panelling behind windows wasn’t great as the wind still came through There was a heater in the room so assume this was to avoid the window issue as my sister stayed in a alternative room without a heater and no window issueStaff weren’t happy we had a child with us although this was preagreed with the hotel, felt like children were not welcome at all, even when it was daytime stares were given so we couldn’t sit in the bar if we could we would’ve had more drinks and spent more at the property instead we went to another business for wine and nibbles We ate dinner together no which was nice service was great in the evening really lovely and helpful server Inconsistency with drinks and serving and service in general Bathrooms downstairs weren’t clean and freezing cold

Breakfast was excellent. Cooked to order and a varied choice. Staff were friendly ,helpful and attentive. Room very good with a very comfortable bed. It was nice to stay in a smaller hotel where the service was more personal and individual.

Very nice. Had large corner room near road but quiet. Had dinner, which was excellent, as was breakfast. Would stay again.

The staff could not have been more accommodating. The breakfast and evening meal was excellent. The bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed. We loved the garden area outside and there was good parking space.

I liked everything and would definitely stay there again.

Welcome was very friendly, information about hotel was very well put , breakfast was spot on and piping hot . Room was clean and comfortable.

Having to book a time to come down for breakfast, which is ok when on a business trip, but when it's a relaxing leisure trip not so good

Our room was very well presented and very sympathetic to the era.The food was really excellent. Our waitress was attentive and the food and wine of a superb standard.

The hotel was lovely, clean, well presented, very well managed, and the food was incredible.

The parking could be a little better

Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. I found the staff friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast the next morning was really nice and tasted like it had been prepped with fresh ingredients.

No air conditioning - might be very hot to stay in the summer. Perhaps a sliding scale for breakfast prices- my son wanted only Croissants and hot chocolate but we still had to pay the full breakfast price. And unfortunately there was no hot chocolate available so he had to settle for orange juice.

Breakfast was excellent.The scrambled eggs were beautifully cooked.Service was very friendly and efficient.

The only down side was the stairs,but only because I have bad knees.

Beautifully designed calm room. Excellent breakfast.

No food available after 9pm, however they did have cheese and biscuits on the dessert menu. So not that much of a complaint!

Staff very good, stylish hotel

Toilet didn't flush. Phone to reception, permanently engaged. Door handles broken,. Bedroom doors slam slut loudly. Went to the bar and waited 25 minutes for a coffee, only to be told, sorry the coffee machine is not working. Staff was very apologetic, and moved us, into a nice room, as a matter of urgency.
