Eastmount Hall Hotel

Was such a friendly and charming experience due to the surroundings and staff. Plus the cream tea on arrival was a perfect touch!

We found the room very small as was the bathroom. It was very clean and the owners were very friendly.Loved the fact we could take a bus to most of the venues that were offered, just wished we had more room.

The staff, reception and breakfast combined. The house was very quiet and close to the beach, breakfast was very good (I recommend the scrambled eggs) and we had a room with view. Upon arrival, we've been served with a cream tea on the house.

The shower head in the shower could be changed as the water flow wasn’t the best. Other than that it was lovely!

As it was mentioned when booking the hotel that breakfast is included.but very sad that the breakfast which was being served was not up to the mark.many things were missing and the breakfast was not displayed as a buffet except two breakfast juices.the breakfast was being served as ala cart.there was only 1 waitress serving the breakfast to all guests which made delays in getting the breakfast on the table.there was not enough quantity of the items.no pastries being served. As me and my wife traveled to so many destinations trough Booking .com this hotel was the worst ever experience we had.the swimming pool was very dirty,our room was not cleaned every day.and the door lock of our room was very old (key lock)No key card system. Which was very difficult to open and close the room.The most annoying thing which made our holidays bad was the morning breakfast which I dint experience in my previous bookings.

We appreciated the friendly service, the complimentary cream tea, the wide range of tv channels and the outdoor swimming pool which was not too cold. The location was good as it was walking distance from the train and and bus stations in Shanklin as well as a good pub that serves food and Shanklin Chine.

Although the water pressure was good, the shower cubicle was small and it was easy to flood the bathroom. Also be aware that the walk from Shanklin train station to the hotel is uphill.

Comfortable clean room, good breakfast choices. Hotel location was good with a short walk to Shanklin village and close to the cliff lift to the beach. We stayed in the family room on the ground floor providing excellent access to the adjacent pool. Staff were kind, helpful and friendly.

Hotel although clean and comfortable is showing signs of getting a little dated and tired in places. The shower in our room was a little small, with the shower door in need of repair. Bathroom overall could do with an upgrade.

The staff are amazing, they made us feel so welcome. It was like being at home.We had lots of fun in the pool. It was a nice surprise to find that it was heated. The breakfasts were delicious.Free biscuits and cream tea on arrival, too!

It is just a little bit dated but that didn't bother us at all.

Breakfast selection was great for the whole family. Staff were amazing , very friendly and welcoming.

TV was very outdated and not smart. Couldn’t get channels for bedtime routine for kids. Only 2 plugs sockets in room so difficult to charge phones/devices. Bedroom doors are extra loud and squeaky, some guests were not mindful of closing doors quietly and in turn woke children up.

The environment was cleanStaff and the owners were nice as they went out of their way to help save my food in a fridge that wasn't meant for that. Also, the pool was closed but was opened when my children requested, at 20:00. I like all of them, to be honest.

The staff and the outdoor facilities were amazing, but the bathroom facilities in my room to be specified, were very poor and the space was too small, no rag had been fixed to hang wet towels, washed pants, net or flannel and even space to put liquid soap. Also, water floods when bathing since the space is small so, I had to use towels to mop it.However everything is nice except the bathroom in room 15 that needs to be updated as above. I would love to stay there again, due to the owners behaviour but not in room 15.

Absolutely brilliant customer service,All of the workers are super friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was tasty, options are simple but enough. They remember your dietary preferences and next day you can find it on your table so you don't have to ask. ( like milk for example)The swimming pool is an amazing add-on, it's heated!We booked for 4 nights.We can't wait to go back to the Isle of Wight, Eastmount Hall hotel has become our only option for staying.You guys are amazing!

We loved our stay at Eastmount Hall. Jill could not have been more welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing to dislike

We had a lovely few days/nights at The Eastmount hall hotel, all staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, tea and toast provided upon arrival to the breakfast room. Jill is amazing, very modest lady who made us all feel welcome to her hotel. Riley enjoy playing pool and drinking the appetisers. The complimentary cream tea upon arrival was a lovely welcomed treat. Would very much stay again. The Sait family.
