Pros +
- Location
- Fantastic comfortable bed, great location and friendly staff. The pool area was great and our evening meal was excellent. I also used the massage service and that experience was also great.
- Gorgeous cosy hotel. We found the decor and facilities up to date and felt luxurious. We had a basic double room which was large and very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting by the fires in the lounge area and the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Also used the spa and had a great treatment with Andrea. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Cons -
- Staff Food Decor
- No real space to unpack your clothes. At one point there was a funky smell coming from the bathroom but eventually it did go away, coincidentally that same smell was coming off the loch.
- There was a blocked drain right outside our room window which then was overflowing all night I did not sleep a wink ! When I passed this on I was advised “ thanks for letting us know we will get it fixed”

Breakfast good. Dinner excellent
Didn't like the £2.50 extra charge for smoked haddock/ kipper on the breakfast menu .

Pricey alcohol
Staff were outstanding. Very friendly, polite, and well trained. The room was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We actually found it warm in February. But the window could be opened.I wish I'd taken my swimming trunks! The pool and hot tub, etc. looked amazing.
The full Scottish breakfast was a tad disappointing. Except for an excellent poached egg, the other ingredients were quite dry as if they had been prepared in advance. While it didn't spoil my stay, a shame this was my last experience of the hotel.
Friendly staff, excellent pool and spa
Room was overly warm , even when we turned the heating off.
Staff were brilliant, the view from the hotel is amazing and the spa facilities are great.
The bed was ridiculously small in the classic double, I’ve never had a smaller bed in the numerous stays I’ve had elsewhere. It was comfortable, but uncomfortable with 2 sleepers.
Great location outstanding staff lovely spa facilities
Loved the spa facilities, so relaxing. Relaxed atmosphere
Hallways could be doing with a refurbishment
This is a gem of a hotel. I was only there for one night for work but the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. I’ll be coming back here for a long weekend, for sure!

great location, nice spa and nice restaurant.
Staff were very helpful and friendly from the receptionist to the bar man even the cleaner was lovely and welcoming
The price of the outside hot tub is a bit much ten pound for every extra person is a lot i think it should be a straight 25 pound for the hour as they are not the best hot tubs i have been in.
Excellent location and spa facilities.
Food and drink prices were excessive.
Lovely spa treatment, and nice warm pool.
The weather, extremely cold!
Location and staff

Staff were very friendly, good location, spa was lovely
