    Pros +

    • I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Easy to find once I had the correct postcode (not the one provided by Booking.com), car parking convenient. Although quite close to a major road, there was very little traffic noise audible in the room. The room had everything I needed and all the staff I met were very helpful. The two dinners and two breakfasts I had in the restaurant/pub were both very good.
    • Good location. Comfy beds.
    • Clean, easy parking, bed comfy

    Cons -

    • Unusual to check in within the onsite pub but it worked efficiently.
    • The coffee machine and juice dispenser area looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long while.
    • Breakfast was poor

    Breakfast was poor

The room was very cosy and comfortable - the bathroom was spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities and extra pillows were very welcome. We were able to control the temperature, which was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed both the evening meal and breakfast that we had there. It represented good value for money.

    Very clean. Staff very helpful

Breakfast in the morning was undercooked and of poor quality. Best thing about it was the toast and croissant.

Clean. Quiet. Short walk into Brackley

Good location, modern clean room. Good cooked breakfast

    8DarianPosted on: 2-2-2026

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pub has a very nice and cosy vibe to it, they also have some live music some nights. The breakfast was lovely an if you get the kids breakfast, it is filling and such a great price.

The only downfall I would say is that it’s a bit far from the town center if that’s something you are interested in. It is easy enough to get a taxi though. We also came back around 2pm and our room wasn’t cleaned yet… other than that I would highly recommend.

Lovely family room, easy check-in and out and great food at the pub

    10GrahamPosted on: 1-29-2026

We attended a family meeting up and the location was ideal. We travelled a long way so to be able to stay at the pub was a bonus. The pub itself is very good, the staff do their job well. We had an evening meal and breakfast both of which were very good and reasonably priced. The room was very clean and comfortable.

This isn't a didn't like more a suggestion. The room tv was fine but the remote was fiddly. I could find no instructions for the less techno savvy.

So I booked family ground floor room as my daughter was getting married on the Saturday and was with me when we checked in was told it was upstairs and that’s not what we booked so was given 2 rooms but at 11am my daughter was kicked out the second room and caused her lot stress and anxiety as was getting married which delayed the wedding I paid £122 and spoke to cleaner who agreed with me she would go clean room at 1.30 when daughter left same cleaner then went and told my daughter she had too get out or pay extra we won’t use booking.com again

Communication between you and get correct room booked

Breakfast was given as complimentary as it was xmas day not in the restaurant but the kitchen in hotel. However, we missed it as they were just packing away as we got there not realising there was a time limit on help yourself refreshments.

Everything was excellent! The bed and linens were good, towels etc as well. Hotel staff were so nice any time we interacted. Nice to have adequate parking, even when the pub/restaurant was busy.

Staff in hotel were great. Staff in restaurant not so much. We ate there twice and both times our waitress never came to check if we needed anything, wanted anything more, nothing. The first time, our waitress left for the night without saying anything and we had to chase other staff down for dessert and then the bill. The second time she was still there but even though she appeared in our vicinity several times never once looked at us. We had to hail her to get anything.

The rooms are comfortable and well equipped for the price.

The mattresses need flipping in room 115. The hairdryer also only runs cold.Guests upstairs should also be reminded that the floors are thin. I had a couple of sleepless nights whilst the room above us were stomping around for hours on end.It would also be great to know how to contact the Night Porter in these circumstances. I couldn’t go to the front of the hotel in the night and press the bell as I was travelling solo with a 3 year old.

    Clean, spacious and comfortable

You get what you pay for, but perhaps a small shampoo and conditioner would have been nice. Genuinely though, nothing to complain about.

    8TanyaPosted on: 1-3-2026

The breakfast was great, good value for money

The beds were a little uncomfortable, a bit too soft for us

    10StevenPosted on: 1-3-2026

    6SarahPosted on: 1-1-2026

Staff very friendly and helpful however lady that checked us in wasn't well and told me she had"flu" that was worrying.Close proximity to family.Breakfast was ok.

Carpet in room dangerously slippery.Xmas tree light cables strewn at the top of the stairs, should be taped down.Bedside table le dirty sticky marks. No sugar for tea.Bath plugholefull of water smelt like sewage.Pump on body was broken.
