Pros +
- Close to shops in Bakewell, across the road from carparking. Smart hotel and comfortable.
- Really clean and well finished. Rooms were comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Spacious room. Facilities/treats within the room were lovely.
- Everything! Room was incredible, the decor, the ambience, all wonderful
Cons -
- Nothing not to like. It would be nice to have breakfast as part of the booking rather than separate, but I understand that the restaurant and hotel are separate.
- Shower pressure was a bit poor
- The only issue we had was a broken shower so we had to use another rooms shower down the hall. Couldn’t be helped.

Shower pressure was a bit poor
Massive bed, great location, would recommend.

The lady at reception was very friendly and advised places to go. The beds are huge and comfortable. The hotel doesn't allow dogs in the bedrooms which is good as I'm allergic to some but all other hotels seem to allow them.
Cannot find a fault
Location, right in the center of town.
Room had only a whirlpool bathroom tub with no rain type shower from above. No shower curtain around tub and only a hand held sprayer which went all over the bathroom. Very cumbersome. No one at the desk after 10pm making it more like a B and B.
The room was clean and well presented
We ordered our food in the restaurant in the evening and it took ages to come. When we were in the middle of our meal in the evening at about 9.30 a cleaner came out and started cleaning around us and mopping the bar floor with bleach the smell and fumes were over powering and we were eating, we had to complain to the staff and remind them it was unprofessional and get them to stop the cleaner.
Big room and good location
Expensive without breakfast included but it was New Year’s Eve. Reception desk not manned for much of the time.
Very clean and tidy, lovely warm spacious rooms.
Nothing, everything was perfect
Location, cleanliness, comfort
Lovely spacious room with two big windows, loved the bath too
The room was very hot when we checked in. This meant we had to open both windows - however we then were woken up in the early hours by street noise and loud deliveries. Bathroom was also quite dusty with lots of hairs around the toilet and bath.
Beautiful room, great location, lovely hotel staff and food in the restaurant, a really comfy bed and soft bedding.
Noise from the cheese and wine bar - minimal though and because we’re early birds with a toddler
The staff were fabulous and very accommodating and friendly.
No stand up shower in the room.
The room was spacious and clean. Was a perfect central hotel. Will certainly stay here again.
Leaving.
Great locationClean, warm and cozyStaff extremely helpful
Room wasn’t ready when we arrived. 2 hours late for checking but the hotel were very helpful and gave us free breakfast
On arrival greeted by friendly staff this continued throughout our stay. They also showed us to our room that was larger than anticipated. Great nights sleep, followed by a nice breakfast, again staff were so friendly.
Cute and modern little hotel
Seemed under staffed. Poor receptionist was serving in the bar and restaurant as well
Property was fine. Room not ready even though we were given the keys,
Breakfast should have been included in the rate.Total cost was over £200. We did get a discount on the breakfast as the bacon was overdone and inedible.
Good location. Nice room
The fact other guests were able to enter our room with their key cards at 1am in the morning when we were in bed
Location and size ofRooms
The noise form fellow residents, shouting in the wet hours banging in my door and trying the handle
