The room was cold in the evening and morning and we could not get it to warm up.

Beautiful location, Really nice rooms. Excellent Restaurant.

Lovely setting, the hotel is warm and welcoming with a great atmosphere. Lovely walks on the doorstep. We had an evening meal and breakfast at the hotel and all the food was lovely. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was on the small side but what we expected for an older building and room above a pub/ restaurant.

2nd visit and didn't dissapoint.... amazing team and lovely warm welcome. Relaxing new year break!!

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always been very satisfied, with clean facilities and friendly staff. However, on this visit I felt the standards had slipped slightly, perhaps due to it being very busy just before Christmas.Overall, it was still an enjoyable stay, but not quite to the usual standard I have come to expect.

On arrival, I was booked in as usual and went to my room, where the radio was already on. I settled in before I went out for the evening, but when I returned late, I could hear a radio playing in an adjacent room. This room appeared to be unoccupied, yet the radio played throughout the night, resulting in a disrupted sleep. Unfortunately, there were no on-site staff available to deal with the issue until the following morning.Breakfast was good, but not up to the high standard I’ve experienced previously. The cooked breakfast included a pot of baked beans that was mostly sauce with very few beans, and there was no toast. The staff member serving seemed new and unsure, with little visible support or mentoring.

Lovely location, nice staff, good quality accommodation, great breakfast.

Nothing to dislike. Bedroom just quite small.
